I hired Servpro in February. Paid a deposit on March 12 to start work and paid the rest March 19. A total of $6995.00. On the initial walk through with the project manager we went over what was to be demolished out and what stayed. IE cabinets were to come out and counter tops were to be shored up. Things that I would be doing like moving the appliances out and packing my belongings. After demo was almost complete I go to check in my house and find that my crawl space door was open and my heat was up to 65. Running nonstop for at least 3 days. Which the furnace was supposed to be detached and removed so floor could be fixed. The company charged for drying equipment which should have been utilized the day of or after the floor was removed. Multiple things lead me to question their integrity. When I asked about having money for services not utilized to be rolled over to repairs they wanted to set up drying equipment. 8 days later and after my furnace probably did the work. When I asked why I was told there was still moisture. I decided to fire them on 3/21 and have a different contractor come assess the house. CCY Remediation came out later in the day on 3/21 and inspected and tested what ServPro had done. The contractor didnt find any moisture anywhere. Upon going over ServPros estimate their were multiple things charged that they hadnt do or couldnt do. Like removal of garbage disposal, I dont have one. Also in the service agreement a roll off dumpster was paid for. There was still stuff that needed to be thrown away but was waiting approval from the insurance adjuster. The dumpster was rented and paid for and because I didnt trust them they had it picked up destroying my yard. I am requesting a full refund . *** talked with the manager and he was rude and pretty much laughed at the situation. They did perform some work but with the propane use, my yard, and my time this company needs to pay me back.
