    My wife needed a makeup artist for our wedding. My wife paid this company $200 as a deposit. The company and my wife were in communication for several weeks to set up an initial makeup trial. On three separate occasions Victoria delayed performing services, after receiving a $200 deposit. With one week left before the wedding and still never receiving services, my wife and I wanted to use a different make up artist that would actually show up and perform the service, because apparently Victoria is either too busy or consistently unavailable to work during times that are shown to be available in her scheduling app. We asked Victoria for a refund of the $200, since she cancelled the initial scheduled appointment 3 times in a row. Victoria told us that Due to the proximity of the event date, we cannot provide a refund. There were no contracts or anything in writing that stated refunds cant be given if it is close to our wedding date. We believe that Victoria has scammed us out of $200 by intentionally refusing to provide service after receiving payment, and refusing to refund our money for a reason that doesnt make any legal sense.
