    I was insured by this office last year and on Jan 29th I used their contracted Road Side Assistance and had to purchase a battery. On Nov. 14th my car would not start, I got a ride to work and my husband charged it when I got off work. We drove to the nearest Auto Zone, they tested the battery and said it was faulty but they were too busy and short-staffed so they couldn't replace the battery. At that point, I called their roadside assistance and explained, they said to contact Erie Ins. to start a claim and they would have to reimburse me for the new battery. I called ****'s 800 number and the man told me I needed to contact my local office and submit the receipt for reimbursement. At that point, I had no choice I needed my car for work and it was almost time for everyone to close. I went down the road to ******* and they were able to test it again and replace it. Then for over 2 wks, I was shuffled back and forth from the local office to the ***** **************** and the Agero Roadside customer service. Each of these businesses put it back on the others. After a little over two weeks, they asked if I still had the battery and told me they could do a warranty on it if I had the battery that they purchase at Auto Zone to take back there. I told them no they kept it as it was faulty and I wasn't carrying it around in my car. So they told me that was my problem and no one would reimburse me. I went to Auto Zone and told them what they said "They laughed and said IF the customer and or any company purchases batteries here they would need the receipt they purchased it showing the date. If they don't we do not change out batteries just because they said they purchased it here and we don't do that for the Roadside Assistant Agero or **** either." So now I have had to purchase two batteries within 9 months and I was told they do indeed have a warranty. This is poor business and I wasted 2 wks and have a log of calls and numbers from all the companies that were involved.
