      Paid a $5000.00 deposit to this company for a new fence to be installed on July 20th 2023. Today is December 7, 2023 and still nothing has been done. I've asked for a refund from the owner **** and he said NO!

      I was quoted $1,800-2000 for a new well motor. At one point I was told that they broke a pipe and things might take a little longer. I asked at that time if that would impact the price and was again quoted $1,800-2,000. Before they were done they asked me for my credit card info. I said I thought I wouldnt be charged until the work was 100% done and asked why they needed it now. I was assured that I would not be charged until everything was complete and that I would receive a call at the time from the owners wife who he said handled the billing. The bill they gave me stated $2,500 and I noted that this was significantly higher than what I was just quoted. They guy said this was because they had to do some extra work after breaking a pipe and they had to order a new cap. I asked if the cap and rest of the work they still were planning to do was included in this price and he assured me that it was. I asked if it made any difference if I paid with debit or check. He stated it did not and he could just take my debit card info. Well within a couple of hours my account was charged for $2,520 - an extra $20 in addition to the $500 we were already over. I asked if there was an error and when to expect the work to be finished. The owner replied that the cap would be in within the week and that there was an extra service fee for using debit. I stated that I would have written a check and wished he would have been transparent about that when I asked. He responded saying that other companies would charge me more and some people arent grateful for anything. I responded and said that I hoped he wasnt upset by my question as I was just trying to clarify. Well since that I have not been able to get any responses from him and the rest of the work has not been done. The cap has not been replaced and it has been over 4 weeks. I would like an explanation of the work, the work to be completed, or to just be refunded.
