After calling to inquire about a home line of credit on my home I spoke w ***** & explained my credit situation & was told that they could help. I went in on 5/22/24 & provided all the required documents I was told by ***** that because of my hx of chapter 13 w discharge the branch loan manager would need to sign off of the BK hx. On 5/28 ***** called me back to tell me that the Loan manager didn't "FEEL" like she was comfortable siging off on the loan. Again I provided all documents needed ***** ran all the numbers said she had everything needed to process my application once the manager signed off. When I said ok can I get the denial letter ***** said no because we didn't run your credit. So they REFUSED to process my application based on the loans managers "feels" instead of my credit worthiness and free and clear collateral on the house. Then after questioning and asking for the denial letter I was told if I wanted the letter I would need to go online and apply. Which again I went into the office w a friend and sat down with ***** and applied in person so I thought. She never said ok now go online an apply as we were leaving the office. I don't understand, loan application have been processed based on credit worthiness for over 20+ Years so when did Feeling become apart of the process. Also I have never spoken to the loan manager so what is she basing her feelings on is the BIG QUESTION?
