Unfair Practices at Tradersbuck flea market A Warning to Fellow Vendors For the past two years, I was a reliable vendor at [Flea Market Name], consistently paying rent on time without fail. When I decided to move out, I followed proper procedureproviding written notice and signing a move-out agreement with the manager, ***** *****, on March 5th (well within the ***** period for rent payments). I officially vacated my spaces by March 29th, ensuring they were left clean and empty.Despite this, on April 1st, I received an unexpected bill for Aprils rent, along with deductions from my final sales. When I contacted management to clarifyreminding them of the signed move-out agreement and requesting my final sales ****** was told the rent "stood" and that I was still responsible for Aprils payment. This makes no logical or contractual sense, as I had already fulfilled my obligations.A Warning to Other Vendors:Unjust Charges: Even with proper notice, they demand payment for periods after vacating.Withheld Earnings: They deduct sales and refuse to release final payments owed.Accounting Issues: Frequent discrepancies in sales tracking, undercharging, and unverified fees.Poor Management: No accountabilitydecisions shift without justification.I strongly advise anyone considering this flea market to proceed with caution. The managements unfair practices and lack of transparency can cost you time, money, and peace of mind.If youve had similar experiences, I encourage you to speak up. Vendors deserve better.

I went to the business requesting a 8' x 10' booth to accommodate some large items I wanted to sale. ******* (****) took my ****** on 11/4/2023. When I returned to set up the items, one of which is 10', it would not fit. I measured and the booth was 9.5 ft not 10 as I was told. When I complained and told **** that I wanted to cancel my agreement, **** said she had to talk with her manager to try to fix things. In the meantime I put some other smaller items out, but the main things I wanted to sell wouldn't fit because the size of the booth wasn't as advertised. I returned several times and **** said she was still working on it. Finally I went and there was a new rep who said **** didn't work there any more. Some of my items had sold, which they never paid me for. I again said I wanted to stop the agreement and was told I couldn't. The main complaint is I wanted to end the agreement because they never addressed the complaint from November about the booth size and time is passing, which they're trying to charge me for.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/11/2024

We have contacted the complainant and offered a solution, which they have accepted.  We agreed to waive any rents due for December and February and issue them a check for their sales.  Further, we have relieved them of any obligation to give proper notice to vacate.  We have obtained their mailing address and have mailed them a check.

     Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They advised they mailed me a check (attached) on 1/15/2024 which I've not yet received, to reimburse me. Upon receipt of the check I will consider the issue resolved.

    Thank you.
