Subpar/unacceptable and unfinished work on my home. The storm door is uneven, a piece of exterior trim is off and has not been replaced. The storm door closers have never been attached. The driveway dried before they were able to finish it, leaving deep ruts, divots, discoloration where water has been pooling, and is uneven all over. It was supposed to be inclined for water to run off, but isn't. The biggest part has rocks that have surfaced, with more to come uncovered over time. He said at first he would fix it on his own dime - to either: tear it out and do it over, to grind it down and cover with asphalt, or grind it down and cover the new and old driveway with asphalt.I paid $4972 so far, but I am crediting my account for materials either returned/not returned and not credited to my account, fiber mesh that was included in the concrete price and never used, brushing the driveway which was never finished before the concrete dried. I'm also deducting the dumpster that was not used. No receipt for concrete/other materials have been submitted. I owe $875/labor but I will not pay for not only unacceptable/unfinished work, but also for his unreliability. At first we thought about the grinding and asphalt coverage, but in several attempts to get him back out here to fix/finish the storm door and discuss next steps (with 2 no calls/no shows), we are not willing to accept any of this unacceptable work. He told us he would put in a claim for the grinding and asphalt ONLY. However, there is no guarantee and it would have to be resealed every few years. This is unacceptable and we will proceed to small claims court seeking a total refund, plus money to have the driveway removal and replacement. I have had 3 contractors here since 9/13/22 and they ALL stated that it is very poorly done and unacceptable and needs to be redone. They are working on quoting me prices for removal and replacement. I have many pictures and videos to support my case.
