    On 08/23/2024 I was told that I owed $134.00 for getting a tooth pulled and I paid that amount then when I got my statement back from ***** which is my dental insurance provider it said I owed $94.50 not $134.00 so they owe me a $39.50 refund. They have admitted to the overcharge, but I have not got a refund.

    I was quoted a price of ***** dollars to have my remaining teeth pulled and healing dentures then premium dentures. I paid the ***** in full at time of visit a month or so later they sent me a bill for ***** for teeth extraction this extra bill was not part of the deal and they know it. I have been calling for a month to get an explanation and find out when I get my premium dentures. Nobody has called me back or had any correspondence with me. If I had known it was going to be an extra ************************************************************************* full this was not discussed with me about any extra charges. I have to pay my credit card card off before I can get anymore credit. This has caused me great stress because I feel like they are avoiding me and what if I had a problem with my healing dentures they do not return my phone calls. I need help in this matter. I consider this highly unprofessional.

    My teeth didn't fit from the first time they tried to shove them in my mouth they wrote in the comments that customer was satisfied I've never been satisfied with my final pair they don't listen to the customer and heard them thru like cattle and don't care about making stuff right alls I want is a pair of teeth that fit I shouldn't have to go some where else to get a good pair of teeth when I paid them to make a quality pair of teeth they manipulate the customers response so it looks like everyone is happy when they leave an it's bull **** I paid good money an got a sub par pair of teeth when I paid for platinum service

    I paid in full for an implant procedure in November 2022. Im still waiting on my final snap in. Ive called at least 20 times, had messages sent and they never return my call. It has been this way from the beginning. Therefore, I transferred over to another location on 96th street. They advise me that it would be coming over from Muncie. They wont call me back either. Ive paid $7000. I did an impression in August, in which I thought that was my final. I was told that was only for temporary plate. I got my second supposed final fill in. However no one will call me back or let me know when its coming back. They only want your money upfront. Therefore they wont need to follow through with the final product. At this point I have given up that Im even going to get my final product. I do believe that they lost my final fill-in and they wont give me any status or let me know that. They are incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint against the 96th St. as well if I dont hear back from them within this next week. There needs to be a lawsuit against this unethical practice.

    From October 2023 to now I have been going to business trying to obtain new dentures that they said they could make. Now I have poorly made dentures, missing implant device & ill fitting. They want to charge $8000 more to do a surgery to replace my old implants that are in good condition so they can put in different type of implants. I have already paid over $6000. I would also want to report my hippa information was compromised due to staff talking in hallways & no doors on exam rooms.

    I paid $8400 on 4/17/2023 for this company to extract my teeth, insert 6 implants into my upper mouth. Included in this cost was a $800 temporary denture to use for 9mos. until the implants fully healed. Included in that cost were any appointments necessary for alignment and fitting of this temporary denture. The first 2 attempts made to get this denture to fit were completely unsuccessful leading to the company to remake the denture. Once the denture was remade the company followed up with 2 more attempts to get the denture to fit, both unsuccessful. I was told that they had tried everything they could and sent me home with a denture that would not fit with the instructions to call in for another appointment later allowing my mouth to heal more. That was 7/7/2023. Over the next several months I repeatedly called their office everyday, never having my call answered. I was always sent to voicemail to leave a message where I was assured someone would return my call. No one ever did. Finally on 11/23/2023 I looked up how to call their corporate office and finally reached some one there. With in a week (12/7/2023) the Muncie office called me and made me an appointment to prep my inserts for my final denture. At that appointment they finished the final steps and made me a appointment to come in and get the final denture. The appointment they made was for 1/1/2024. New Years day. I was sent 2 text from them, including one on 12/31/2023, asking me to confirm the appointment. So on New Years day I drove 2hrs one way to find a empty parking lot and a closed office. I have called again repeatedly with no answer or returned message ever since. As of today(1/19/2024) I still have not been able to make contact with them. Once I paid this company upfront, they had no interest in me as a customer. I paid top dollar for temporary dentures to avoid going 9-10mos without teeth, yet I still had too. I am still sitting with a job unfinished that I paid for

    ************ came to our office to have extractions with immediate upper and lower dentures; On November 22nd, 2022 patient presented for the surgery and delivery of the immediate dentures.  ************ was given a treatment plan which he signed and is included in the attachments above. On June 27th, 2023 ************ reached out to me via my cellphone; I spoke with ************ and shared with him that the claim that was submitted to his insurance company did not include the initial immediate dentures, but as gesture of goodwill based on the *** $1,618.00 would be credited to his account and refunded. ************ thanked me and we ended the call. On June 28th, 2023 ************ reached out to me again via text message stating that he needed to speak with me, I called him and he stated that he felt we owed him more money.  I explained again to ************ that following the *** and given the initial immediate dentures were not paid for, I was still offering him the full refund he would have been entitled to. ************ thanked me and we hung up. On July 19th, 2023 ************ came to our office to purchase a permanent set of dentures, which as stated in the treatment plan he would be responsible for paying his portion of 50%.  I spoke directly with ************ and shared with him that I would submit to his insurance company and if they do not pay for this set of dentures it would be his responsibility to pay for them, once the new set of dentures are processed and delivered, a claim will go out to his insurance company, if they pay, he will receive the full $1,618.00 refund as promised, if they deny the claim, the refund amount with decrease based on what he would owe for this second set of dentures.

    Where the confusion is coming from I believe is that the patient has a $1500 maximum insurance benefit, his insurance was never going to pay more than that amount. Since the claim did not initially include the $1270 for the immediate dentures, the insurance company was basing his out of pocket portion off of the oral surgery only. I thought I had communicated this to ************, and regret that he felt he needed to reach out and file a complaint. 

    As I mentioned above, ************ has been seen as recently as July 19th, 2023 and is in active treatment with our office.

    1/16/2023 I went to have a partial denture made .I paid $439.70 up front. After 3 weeks and multiple fittings and impression I was given a partial and told to take them home and try them. They wouldn't even come together with my lower teeth. I took them back and they said they would make another pair. After 3 more weeks and fittings they put them in my mouth and there was two metal hooks over my front teeth and under my upper lip like a silver coat hanger. If I smiled more than a grin they were severely apparent. The lab manager was called in and he said it was a bad design. He cut the metal off and they wouldn't stay up. I couldn't wear them. That was 4/14. I have called three times and left a message. I called their *********** 5/14 and have never gotten a response from any of them. They evidently plan to keep my money

    2/17/2023 The dentures were poorly made. They are misaligned and do not fit as they should. I paid out of pocket for my whole service. They treated me poorly when I addressed issues with billing and it had forced me to get a cheaper pair since my quote was not correct and I could only afford the economy pair. But still thought I was getting a decent service until I received the final set and they looked terrible. I'm not able to wear a pair of dentures that are so noticeable misaligned.

    ********************* presented in our office on 2/2/2023 for impressions to make an upper denture, on 2/17/23 **** returned for the delivery of the denture and according to chart note she left happy with her denture. On 3/18/23 **** returned for an adjustment to her denture.  We were unaware of any issues with the denture and as of today's date we have not seen or heard from Cara.

    Beginning around Match of 2022 I went to Affordable Dentures &Implants for new dentures. I have been going to this business for 12 to 15 years. The first set of dentures they made for me (in March) had a good fit but needed some adjustments. The person that did the try in and fit introduced himself (forgot his name) but he made mention that he was from corporate in North ************ was pretty obvious that he didnt know what he was doing and within minutes had ground off a lot of the teeth . I refused to accept these dentures. Over the next 9 months ********************************* made so many impressions, wax try ins, and dentures that Ive actually lost count. At least one set of dentures a month. Each time the fitment and quality became worse. They actually threw away a set of dentures that were mine and never tried rectifying that situation. Finally in December ( the 12th I believe) they had me try a set of what I can only describe as a kindergarten attempt at making dentures and they told me to give them a couple of weeks and see how they worked.. totally laughable! Even the dental assistant knew the dentures were a joke. I paid for and my insurance paid for a premium set of dentures. What I got are not wearable and certainly not a professional quality denture (upper and lower). I paid ( I think *******) Im not sure what ************ **************************************************************

    The ******* ************************ assigned my complaint to an arbitrator. She was successful in getting Affordable Dentures to respond and to reach a settlement between myself and affordable Dentures. Ive decided to accept their offer. Im waiting for the settlement now!
