    Report on Theft by Clemens Home Solutions Clemens Home Solutions represented they would work with my ****************** Indiana Farmers, to restore a property as a result of storm damage. Clemens used the Better Business Bureau logo on their paperwork and claimed "affiliation" with the Better Business Bureau.I signed a contract in the evening of May 24, 2023. ***************************** claimed my $13,000.00 deposit check would be "held" until materials were ordered for my job. May 26, 2023 I made several contacts with Clemens and was told there were several things needed to be done yet. Mainly Insurance verification of the amounts Insurance would pay. At each step I was promised Clemens would "work with my insurance company." As their promises didn't seem legitimate I sent a Certified Letter this same day cancelling the contract. (May 26,2023) ***** Clemens acknowledged that no materials had been ordered and I had cancelled he contract. The $13,000.00 deposit check had not been cashed and would be returned as no materials were ordered and he couldn't do the work. I specifically asked "So yoiu don't want he business?' ***** Clemens said "You have already cancelled the contract. No. We can't do business with you." The $13,000.00 check had not been cashed. On June 1,2023 I discovered Clemens had in fact cashed and deposited the check although I cancelled the contract May 26,2023. I then went to the Clemens ******** page asking why my check had been cashed and my money stolen. Clemens turned their ******** page off and I have no idea why my check was cashed as no materials had been ordered and the contract cancelled. The money was taken deceptively. I was told the check would be returned but instead Clemens stole the money and I have no access to the $13,000.00.***************************
