We visited Sam's Diner ( **********************************) today for the first time. We were not impressed. The food was fair at best. The waitress that took our order never came back to check on us the entire time we spent there. She sat at the counter just across from us with her boyfriend and kept touching his face. She actually touched his face one time and then wiped her hand on her pants. A man went to the register to ring out. She got up from the counter and went directly to the register and rung this man up and returned to sitting at the counter with her friend. We didn't finish our meals we were ready to go. My husband and I the went to the register to ring out. That same waitress again got up from her seat at the counter with her friend and came over to ring us up. My husband reminded the waitress that his meal came with a piece of sugar cream pie and he would just take that to go. The same waitress walked over the cooler and without putting on gloves or washing her hands got the pie plate out of the cooler. I then reminded my husband that waitress still had not washed her hands and I know that she had never left the counter area , so I know she had never washed her hands. He then politely asked the waitress if she would wash her hands prior to getting his piece pie out of the plate. She said "I won't touch it, we have stuff for that" She then got a small fork and a Styrofoam container and proceeded to get the piece of pie without washing her hands or putting on gloves! By then we were just over it. I went outside and my husband told her he no longer wanted the pie. We are not OCD or anything , it's 101 of food service to wear gloves or wash your hands and his request was not too much to ask for. So poor service , fair food , and poor hygiene. first and last visit.

I worked for the diner and he refuses to release my last paycheck. He is also my landlord. He is refusing to pay the utilities he agreed to pay and in fact has since turned off the electricity. I worked for him outside the diner which he also refuses to pay me for. I had a licensed electrician come to fix the electrical issues per his request, which he also refuses to pay for.
