********* ********************** New battery installed in my 2016 ***** CRV stopped working 18 months after purchase. I obtained several battery tests that said BAD BATTERY and BAD CELL. Went to the ******** DukeOfOil ********* (franchise, not corporate), store and *** told me his battery tester said the battery was fine. I explained my car had intermittent starting and several tests said BAD BATTERY. *** told me it was fine and dismissed me. I went back few days latter and asked if he can retake the test-same answer. The ***** ** location of DUKE OF OIL, ********* (franchise, not the corporate store), said same, as well as be extremely rude to me. I had a battery warranty with FVP for their Platinum battery, plus with ************************, ********* ******** ** store. The corporate ********* stores would have honored something like this - ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU ARE GOING TO A CORPORATE ********* STORE, not this franchise "make your own rules" store. After several months of being trying to follow up with FVP Battery and DUKE OF OIL ******** *********, ********, **, I have to take this matter to small claims court. I guess warranties are just a piece of paper to some companies.
