      Service line went out. I was told they have 2-5 business days to do it. They said they could gig me in that day when I called back they said there was an outage that happened that day yet I was out of service for 3 days and I work from home. They dont care said they would get to me possibly Monday, poor service dont care about customers. I live in a rural area and they dont care about us since we are far out.

      Mainstream Fiber came out to our residence after we had a contractor with another company doing work on our yard. The contractor hit our Mainstream internet cable cord while they were working. The cord was buried only 2 inches which is not the depth required. Mainstream came out and repaired the cable and placed a new very long cable in our yard and flagged it off. They said they would be back to bury it. It has been several weeks. Mainstream has answered their phones ONCE. Between my wife and I we have called around 20 different times. My wife was able to speak to someone who said the supervisor was in a meeting and would call her back afterwards. The employee said they tried to contact dispatch to schedule a time for them to come out but dispatch was on lunch. We never received a call from the supervisor. We need the cord buried for several reasons including we have six young children who keep playing with it. We have pets (cats, dogs, chickens) that are scratching at it and sniffing it. We explained to Mainstream that this has created an unsafe situation for our children and animals in our own yard. The cord is extremely long (at least 30 feet) and it is running in front of our front porch. We were supposed to have contractors come tear down our front porch and build a new one WEEKS AGO and they will not do so until the cord is buried. Mainstream is absolutely refusing to correct an unsafe situation that they have created on our property. The cord is literally still flagged off today. We are trying to cut our grass and have to hold the cord up off the ground to cut grass. If an accident were to occur because of this cable running through our property, we have now spoke directly to Mainstream and have record of us trying to address the issue here.

      I signed my 12 month contract on July 20, 2023. When I signed, the website and the ***(s) started that the service was available to my address. They stated it could take ***** days to get everything done before service would be up and running at my ******** Oct 2023, I had not heard anything so I reached out to them and they said there weren't any notes about why it wasn't done so they would have to look into it and call me back. I never received a call back, so I reached back out to them about month later and I was told the same thing. This "back and forth" continued monthly until Aug/Sept 2024 without me ever receiving any info. After reaching out monthly for about a year, I talked to a sup who called construction and told me I didn't actually have a line run to my house when the rest of the neighborhood did. Someone could have relayed this info to me at any point that year, but did not. I was then told they would reach out to me with more info about construction. On Dec 6, 2024, they reached out to me and told me construction should be completed in Jan, which was when I also received an ad stating Fiber Internet coming soon from Mainstream. On Jan 28, 2024, I still have not heard from them. I call them and am told they will reach out to construction for an update and call me back. I did not get a call back. I called on Jan 30 and was told the new *** was Feb. I heard nothing again and I called on March 3. There are "no notes from construction" again. The ***(s) told me they will have their sup reach out to them and call me back with an update. I call back on March 26 and am told it is now scheduled to be done that week. I call back that Friday and no update. On April 14 with no update. I'm told by the *** that they will reach out to construction and they will call me back. No one reached out to me. I call back on April 17 and am told the same thing. No one calls me back. So, I call again on April ****************************************************** back.

      On or about August of 2024 began having issues with internet service, this is due to Mainstream upgrading their modems, however, they inadvertently created an issue for many of us in **********, IN because, although the hardware was compatible, the software was not and because of this they effectively had 2 signals in the same line and they were superseding one another. After multiple service calls, they came out and then proceeded to tell me it was my equipment that was creating issue. this proved untrue, they have confirmed this as well, and it was their software the whole time. i have been charged like a clock even though they still have not resolved the problem and or even contacted me to try to mollify me. Literally NOTHING. This seems to be usurious and unfair.

      Our family was instructed to provide a paid invoice for work performed to repair our invisible fence. The work was completed on Friday 6/7/24. Workers from Mainstream Fiber damaged our fence while working at the corner of our property at ******************************************************************************** at the end of May 2024. We warned them of an underground wire before they began work but the fence was still damaged. This is the second time Mainstream has damaged our invisible fence. I spoke with ***************************** about the damage. Our mailing address is *********************************************. I have not received reimbursement as promised to me by ******************* of Mainstream. Recently, I have emailed and called the company numerous times to no avail. Please help me resolve this matter so that I do not have to file a legal complaint.

      On 4/23/24, Mainstream came onto my property for the sole purpose of trenching a cable line from the source through my yard to my neighbor's home. This was not for service to my home. I was not at home at the time, but the next day I couldn't believe the damage that they did to my lawn and driveway. They dug up the dirt on each side of my driveway destroying grass and leaving rocks and large clumps of dirt/clay where the grass used to be. On one side, the damage was a path about 10 feet long and 3 feet wide. On the other side, it was 6 to 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. To my driveway, they left mud and make multiple circular tire marks. When I moved in, I obtained internet from another provider. When they buried the cable in my yard, they did not damage the sod or grass. Mainstream was reckless and damaged my property. They do not have the right to do that. I immediately contacted the company, but no one would speak to me about this issue. My neighbors who actually ordered service from Mainstream also suffered some damage, although very minimal. They contacted the company and spoke to a supervisor named ****** who said he would come look. ****** came to my property and told me that he agreed that the damage to my yard and driveway was unacceptable. I told ****** that grass seed was not going to correct this much damage. The rocks and large clumps of dirt/clay would have to be cleaned up first and then sod applied. ****** agreed with my assessment and stated that he would speak with someone and get back to me. This was on 4/24/24. I have made several attempts since then to reach him and find out when Mainstream will fix the damage to my yard, but as of today, no further response has been received.
