    Quoted a price for 2 days work. Had to change date for work to start because they had a bigger customer that had a problem. Work took one day. Left while walls and floor still wet.Refund amount not acceptable.

    On August 19, 2024 I hired Servpro to remediate some water damage to the finished lower level of my house located at ***** ****** ***** **** After the water damage was taken care of and the damp carpet and and padding was removed, Servpro requested a deposit of $5,845.46 for carpet and materials. I sent them a check in mid-September. In November a guy named Darren from Servpro arrived, unannounced, at my front door with some gray carpet samples. I told him none of them were acceptable because mu lower level was in tans and browns. He said he would bring some different carpet samples, but I never heard from him again. The day after Thanksgiving, Matt B***** ****) brought some different carpet samples. I chose one and notified of my choice on Monday, Dec, 2. Servpro was scheduled to start installing carpet on Dec. 30, but it didn't happen. To make a long story short--Servpro just competed the job today, January 30, five months and 11 days after it was started. Start to finish this project should have been completed in six weeks. I think I should get a significant discount on this job!
