I took my 5-year old daughter in to this dentist on Halloween 2022.We get there and we are moved to our room and we begin having x-rays done. The dental assistant informs me my daughter needs 3 caps and a ton of filings. Quite a shock! I'm feeling absolutely horrible that her teeth are in this shape, and very emotional. Things begin to happen very quickly. I'm told to sign all of this paperwork, with no real explanation of what I'm signing. I write check for almost $800. My daughter is now in the chair, has received gas and numbing shots with no problem. The doctor comes in to begin the procedure, she gets 1 filling done and then decides to stop before scaring my child further. I agreed. I am then whisked away to sign more paperwork to have her sedated the following week. They kept my $800 check, though I only owned them $389.90 for what was done that day. No receipt was given, no copy of the paperwork I signed. Nothing. Luckily I wrote all of this down so I'd remember later. The next morning I paid the deposit for the anesthesia and go to pick up my daughters antibiotics for an infection the doctor NEVER mentioned. These antibiotics are both HUGE pills and another in liquid. I began getting very skeptical of this dentist's ability. I called and told them I wanted to just pay what I owe them and be done. The secretary told me he'd half to talk to the dentist and call back. No call back. I called my bank and cancelled that check as I knew I'd never get my money back. I called again 11-23-22 as I have not received a bill. The secretary then told me I owe them over $600 for cancelling the appointment. When I became upset, she hung up on me. I have yet to get any bill, documentation, or my x-rays that my insurance paid for. I'd love to pay the bill, but only what I owe, which is $389.90 and no more. These people have no business being in business if they cannot handle an upset parent, and taking advantage of one when they're upset which is exactly what I feel happened.
