      Never let ERA hold the earnest money check. After an accepted offer from a buyer with ERA the buyer proceeded to order inspections. The buyer & seller agreed on repairs and the inspection response was signed by both. parties. All requested repairs by the buyer was agreed to and completed. A few days before closing (and a few thousand in repairs) the buyer backed out and ERA is refusing to turn over the earnest money check to the seller. That left the house off of the market for 23 days and in the mean time turning down a cash buyer.
      This is not the first time they have done this to other companies. What kind of company allows this to happen to seller's? It sounds like they don't care who they hurt and have lost all humanity. If this was their seller they would be demanding their earnest money and threatening to sue.
      As the owner of ERA would say" If it's not in writing it didn't happen", Well this is in writing and it did happen!
