The overall inspection and scheduling process was fine. However, the quality of work done was not. I was unhappy with the initial work as well as work done to correct my concerns. When I shared my ongoing concerns with the quality of both jobs and how aesthetically unpleasing it was, I was told they "have completed the work as agreed upon, and unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do to change the appearance of the mortar." A second opinion from a trustworthy local business differed and also led to other concerns with the work done by ******. If the work was much neater, the color difference would not be nearly as noticeable. It was also discovered that ****** smeared mortar on the bricks, perhaps to "repair" them near the top of the chimney. It's really too bad that this is the quality of work this business stands by and deems as acceptable.

We remember completing the chimney repair in July 2024. As we explained then, due to the age of the chimney, the new mortar used would not immediately match the existing mortar. We informed customer that it would take time for the mortar to darken and blend, a process affected by weather. Customer expressed understanding and acceptance of this at the time.

We're surprised and saddened to hear of her dissatisfaction nine months later. We stand by the quality of our work and the information provided.

Based on the quality of work not just the first time but also the second time, what was I supposed to do? I shared my complaints and obviously you are standing by what was deemed as unsatisfactory. Disappointed that after I complained, you didnt come inspect the job yourself. You should know we paid for another company to fix the work done by your crew and it looks amazing so telling me that the new mortar wouldnt match is not an excuse. More than happy to share pictures with you of how the job should have been completed. You should also know that this was never conveyed to me up front that the mortar wouldnt match when the job was initiated.
