    I never signed a contract with this business. I was in ******* when the business said they sprayed the lawn on ****** Ave, Indpls, In. ***** I have a place in ******* and did not return until middle of April.I received a voice mail from ***** from Spring Green at ************ on May 2, 2024.. I called her and she requested payment for the service. She said they sprayed the lawn on ****** in Feb and early April. I told her I was not home and there were weeds in the yard. ***** said if I would pay the bill they would come out and respray. I paid the bill which was ****** on 5/02/24. I called when no one came to respray. ***** said she would check with the manager. I reminded her of her promise that if I paid , they would spray. I have since called twice and left messages, but no one returns the call. At this point , I would like my money back since I have no knowledge that the lawn was ever sprayed, nor did I sign a contract to have it sprayed. Today is 5/22/2024

    In response to the customers complaint above, we send out notifications to all customers over the winter in 2 letters we mailed on an envelope stating "Notice of Continuance". We also sent out several emails, as well as a call ahead on every customers first application informing of their upcoming treatment. Notice of continuance is also on EVERY invoice the customer recieves. At any point the customer could have called in and canceled if she did not want service. Our services run every 30 to 40 days a visit (weather dependant) so after the **************************************************************** issues, they are due for a new visit at that point. The customer failed to pay the first 2 bills, which resulted in her being put on a hold in our system for all further treatment until the balance was settled. When the customer finally paid for the visits, the customer demaned a free respray due to weeds. Spring Green offers free resprays and visits inbetween applications, if the customer calls in with a concern. During the call, ***** explained that since she was way overdue for another application, thus it would be another visit, not a free respray. Customer declined at that point and and cancelled services. Spring Green would also like to note the customer failed to pay last years final visit of $74.89, which was written off. Spring Green also has no indications that the customer attempted to call in, and if a call was made, no message was left that we could have returned. Spring Green will not be refunding any money to the customer due to the fact that services were provided and the history of the customer's failure to pay.

    I just reviewed Spring *****'s response to my request by phone today.  It was non-responsive.  Please help me get a proper businesslike response from this company.  There is an odor of mendacity about Spring Green.

    I sent you a message saying I had spoken with the company and felt the matter resolved.  When I got home, I learned the company lied to me and did not email the requested bill of sale.  I also followed that up immediately by telling you I was asking you to keep it open because the business lied.  Please let me know if you want me to open another complaint.

    The following complaint has been handled within the best resources the company could provide, however, customer was not satisified with the resources provided to him. Customer wanted a detailed description of his program, which was provided in multiple fashions and attempts, however, customerw as still not satisfied. Customer was requesting unreasonable documention. Customer is also mistaken, as we have been owners for the past year, not year, and the company changed managment hands, not ownership. We have agreed to part ways, as we could not come to a reasonable conclusion to satisfy the customer.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  This business refused every request to provide a listing of my 2023 services and cost.  At no time did they provide it to me.  They did not respond to my request for conciliation due to large sections of my yard not being treated for most of the season.  In fact when they did not provide my 2024 statement after the first service, they emailed me a document that clearly OMITTED any 2023 services.  The mendacity of this company is to such an extent that I terminated service. I am enclosing their response to my inquiry so that you may see documentation of said mendacity.

    The business did not respond to my issue.  I attached previously documentation they intentionally refused to provide the statement of account for 2023.  Please correct your disposition to reflect that fact.

    I have tried to do business with this company over two years. The service has been absolutely unacceptable. A year ago they damaged my lawn terribly by burning it with chemical. I cancelled them a year ago, but they contacted me again and I gave them another chance. Ive informed them about weeds everywhere and always the promise they would take care of it. On more than one occasion they said they would come out, but never showed. Back in the summer they were suppose to take are of the weeds and never showed. No flag left in the yard or bill on the door, and when I called, they just promised to come out but never did. Now a woman called me on 12/29/2023 saying since I cancelled them, I owe them money. Theyve done that to me before and I went ahead and paid the amount she asked. I havent spoken to them since mid summer when they were sopposed to come and spray for weeds and NEVER showed up as usual. I thought to never hear from them again but that woman called me again this morning on 12/29/2023 and said since I had cancelled, I owed them money. I didnt even ask how much, because I do not owe them anything. She threatened to turn whatever that amount is in tocollections. I am a very reputable person with a credit score of 865, which is excellent. I pay my bills that I owe. I do not want a **** on my credit due to dealing with a questionable so called business like this. I paid them a total amount of $276.75. My lawn service charge was $45.00 per application. If anything, I overpaid them. My lawn looked horrible this summer and I have no intention of paying them another dime. They said they would repair the damage that occurred but never did. I am informed there are other complaints concerning this business. Can someone help me with this company/business. If they do anything to damage my credit, I will be seeing an attorney.

    Spring Green has provided my lawn treatment for years. Since they had a new owner, I have had multiple problems with service. Their Tech ignores large portions of my yard until I complain. I had most recently noticed a second area their Tech ignores and is substantially deficient in appearance. Their Tech is incompetent and lazy. They addressed my first complaint, but now I noticed a second one. The Tech needs to be replaced. They have not properly responded to my issue. They REFUSED to treat the area between the shed and tree.

    After the second lawn treatment my yard had a ton of burn spots, mushrooms and weeds. I called to complain about the burn spots and inform them that the mosquito control service they performed did nothing for my yard. "*****" in the office said we can send them out to "respray" for the mosquitos and someone will be out tomorrow to evaluate your yard. I SPECIFICALLY said DO NOT TOUCH my yard until I have that consultation and declined the second treatment. She then sends the mosquito person out AGAIN, charges me AGAIN and still no phone call about my dead spots. It gets better. I have brand new sod, 8 mths old. They come out without my knowledge or consent and AERATE! Ripped my sod to shreds and give me a bill. After I go bezerk I get a call from "*****" saying let me set the record straight. You had a free "Aerate" when you signed up for service as a promotion. What *****? Nothing in this world is free and I think I would remember that. Also you know I have a new lawn and that could ruin it! Then I get a threatening email that my account is going to be sent to collections.
