I contacted ***** of A+ Water Solutions for drilling a well at our house at ********************************************************************************. I received an estimate of $7,250 (#****) on 8/1/22 for drilling the well. The estimate states "one half of estimate is required to secure scheduling for services." I mailed a copy of the contract with check #**** in the amount of $3,625. I was told I would be informed about when the work would take place after he received the check. The check was deposited by the business on 8/5/22. Having heard nothing, I called the company on 8/15 and ***** could not give me a date for providing service due to mechanical issues with his equipment. I called again on 8/26, 8/27, 8/29 and left messages each time requesting a date for the well service to be provided. On 8/29, ***** called but could not provide a specific date for drilling my well. I told him I must hire a different well driller since our lake house has been without water since the last week of July. At my request he agreed to send a check to return my $3,625 deposit. I have not received a check and have not had any response from ***** despite my attempts to reach him. I left a message on 9/14. I attempted to call on 9/20 at both his business numbers but both numbers would not take messages due to full mailboxes. On 9/20 I emailed ***** telling him I would need to take measures to recover my funds if I did not receive a response by the end of the day. I received no call or email. I am starting with filing a complaint with the BBB and hope you can help resolve this situation with the return of my deposit. I have since hired a different well drilling service that has a date for next week to provide needed services.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

The business response letter was a fictional narrative of the facts.

The fact that the BBB had to send 3 notices to A+ before receiving a response, accurately represents the  experience I had with this business.

I will only be satisfied when the $700 of bogus service call charges are refunded to me. If satisfactory action is not taken by A+ water solutions, I shall be filing a complaint with the ******* Attorney General Consumer Protection Division.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 11/29/2022

I am rejecting this response because:
I received  a letter  from A+ post marked 10/4/22 that included a partial refund check in the amount of  $2925 and an invoice  # **** showing charges  totaling $700.00 in bogus service calls that were deducted from my deposit. I disputed the charges with the business in an email and  requested the return of my total deposit. I have had no response from A+.

I request the return of the $700.00  deducted from my deposit.

I have filed a claim with the ******* Attorney General Consumer Protection Division.

The business response that I received 11/23 is the same as one dated 10/18.
