    I purchased an LOD roof rack, cross member kit, and wind deflector for my 2021 Jeep Rubicon with One Touch Roof through Happy Trails 4WD in **************. They had never installed a roof rack from LOD but said LOD was a good company to work with. We installed the roof rack in November. Then we discovered that the one touch roof would ripple so much that it I was afraid to drive it on the freeway for fear it would rip the roof out of the slots. It also exceeded the acceptable noise levels for hearing. With the wind deflector installed, this toned down the ripple, but it still rippled sufficient to worry about wear and tear, and the noise levels are still unacceptable. The design is clearly not made or tested for a One Touch roof and should only be installed on hard tops. We tried multiple times, both the installer company and myself to get technical assistance from LOD. They insisted it was fine and refused to accept a return. I REPEATEDLY asked to speak with a technician or a manager and no one called me back. I have now spent $2,365 for the rack, $1080 for the install, had to have the rack uninstalled and am now having to replace the *** tail lights that were modified/destroyed to fit their product (sunk cost for me of $1,600). In addition, I have the roof rack system in my garage. I would like this company to PLEASE take responsibility for false advertising a product that will not work well on the One Touch Jeeps. All I want is to be able to return the product. I have pictures, video of the noise and the roof rippling. Please advise.
