    I hired US Drywall to install and finish drywall at a new construction home I was building to sell. Once the job was complete I paid what was agreed upon. The checked cleared a few weeks later. Around two months after making payment to US Drywall I was contacted by Best Drywall Supply who supplied the drywall to US Drywall for the job. The finance manager stated they were going to take action against myself due to non payment to US Drywall. Upon that, I provided a copy of the written and cleared check to US Drywall upon which they stated Alan Wallace the owner of US Drywall had told them he had not been paid for the job so he could not pay them for materials. Upon Best Drywall Supply seeing the evidence of payment they stated no action would be taken against myself. Thinking it was over approximately a month later I received a legal notice Alan Wallace the owner of US Drywall had filed a lien against the property the work was done at. At a later date the house was sold and at closing funds were deducted to satisfy the lien. At the advice of the closing attorney I filed suit against US Drywall and later was awarded the judgement by the court due to the lien filed by Alan Wallace owner of US Drywall on the grounds the lien was filed with a sworn signature by Alan Wallace that he was filing within the 60 days required by law when it fact it was 130 days plus. The lien was also found invalid due to the fact US Drywall was in fact paid for the job. The court awarded myself the judgement against US Drywall on 6/20/23 for funds taken from the closing to be returned to myself and after attempts by the court clerk as well as my attorney I still have not been paid by US Drywall to this date of filing this review on 1/9/25
