Being in sales myself for 35 yrs, I always say the character of a reputable company comes out AFTER the sale is complete.Could not be more true than with ***********Bought a 7ft pool table from *****. Great with answering all questions & providing pictures & working on a good price for product, transport & set up! My only request was to install *************** but he said he could not get them so we went with Penguin which is still a great. Later found out he could get them but did not want to. Got the table and his installers were great! Table refurb looked great, as well as the install of the new cloth. Then I measured the pockets. They were not all similar in width.2 corner pockets were correct for pro cut & the other 2 were even tighter than pro.Installers saw it and agreed, so they called *****. I expected him to say they would fix it. Instead he said, "You woke me up and I am sick.If you don't like it I can refund your money and take it out of your house". I was very surprised with this response. With that response, did not trust that if I were to have them take it back, he would indeed refund my $200. So I kept the it & decided to call him the next day. Talked & almost every response from him started,"I don't mean to sound harsh, but". That is just a passive aggressive way to say, I'm a jerk so excuse me for it. All I wanted was for him to fix the pockets. He told me to call Penguin.I did & they were great.Gave me a potential fix from the Valley site about trying to adjust the rails slightly. They also said that if it didn't work to send rails back & they would look at the issue for resolution.I asked ***** if he would send someone to my house whenever they made it back my way to do this.He made up an excuse of not feeling comfortable doing it even though Valley documented. He got his *********** not warranting his work. BUYER BEWARE WITH HIS COMPANY. Great to work with until he gets the sale. Then, good luck after. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
