    Date of transaction: March 24, 2023 Committed to provide room for four nights from March 31 to April 4, 2023, at the cost of $409.78.The dispute is: I was unable to get to the My Place Hotel on March 31, but I went to the hotel to check in on the next day - Saturday, April 1st. I was told that my reservation was cancelled even though I paid in full and my credit card was fully charged. The hotel informed me that it was because I booked the hotel through Hotels.com. However, I paid for four nights and they committed to four nights and should not have cancelled without contacting me. The Itinerary # is **************. I contacted Hotels.com and was informed the Hotel would not provide with any type of refund.

    Good Morning.

    The reservation for *********************** was made through a third-party company. The employee on duty explained that we were unable to make any changes and the guest needed to contact Hotels.com for any changes. Being that it was canceled due to not showing up, we are not able to reinstate a reservation (because it would show a different arrival date).

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 

    This policy should have been explained to me prior to reservation.  Also, it should have been explained to me after I called the hotel to let them know I may not make the first night of the reservation.  I paid for four (4) nights; I tried to check on day 2 of the reservation and should have been offered a room as I had already paid for it!!!
