    I treated a friend, myself and my 14 year old daughter to acrylic manicures and gel pedicures before we went on vacation to **********, ******* on March 24, 2024. The total was $350 for the services for the 3 of us. My credit union bank card "was not working" they said which made no sense because the funds were there. They asked if I had another card and I did not but my daughter had her cashapp card. They swiped her card and took every dime she had which was $258 and then they said they did not receive it but it was gone immediately after they swiped it. I then left my friend and daughter at the salon to go to the *** 2 minutes away to get cash and pay this business for the second time because they claim they did not receive the $258 from my daughters cashapp card but they did. I have no reason to lie about what happened. The business proceeded to defame my character on a ****** review I left and they also threatened me with they're attorney. The business has only been open about 3 months so I'm guessing they will be long gone before my issue is resolved.

    Happy Nails in Plainfield. I went today for the 2nd time, as I was very happy the first time. I had the same tech both times.I went in for a Fill on my overlay nails. I had lifting on 4 of my nails, so the tech decided to remove WITHOUT MY CONSENT. The tech CUT my nails down , and by time I realized what they were doing, they took a nail tip and started RIPPING the acrylic off my natural nails, instead of soaking them off.On my way home, I was already upset, and I realized that instead of having a curved apex, all 4 of the nails are completely flat, and they are pointing straight up at a 45 degree angle. When I messaged asking for a refund, I explained everything, sent photos as proof, etc. and I was called a liar, and they refuse to make it right. 0/10. Do not recommend. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. I paid $60 on February 17, 2024.
