I had a new faucet installed by Maglish on December 23, 2024. The charge was $639. The original invoice said: "EXTENSIVE DIAGNOSIS-OPEN CEILING TO CHECK FOR LEAK OR OTHER CONCEALED PROBLEM. REPAIRS ARE ADDITIONAL. WALL RESTORATION NOT INCLUDED." This is not the work they did. They installed a faucet. I was told Maglish was sold to *** and I wonder if I was overcharged for my faucet install or if that is the new price, since it was double what I have paid in the past. I have called and emailed Maglish and ABC and cannot get past the bot answering the phone or the automated email reply. I also am trying to find out if my current service plan ***** is still good or if they are changing the parameters. No one will return my messages. Even though it says work approved, I did not see the invoice language, and at the time, I didn't realize that the price was double of what I paid before. Very, very frustrated with a company I have used for years. Thank you. ***** ****

Last summer (2023) I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. I attempted to fix the leak myself to no avail so i called Maglish Plumbing to assist. On 06/02/2023 they sent over a technician to make the repairs. The leak was at the tee connection to the dishwasher off the hot water feed line to the sink. The dishwasher connection is a male metal fitting and the feed line is a **** female fitting. The tech removed the dishwasher line from the feed line and applied pipe dope to the male fitting and replaced. The connection was tested and the leak had stopped. I was presented the bill for $310.14 with the stipulation that I was to keep an eye on it because he did not trust ****, especially a female adaptor. Nine months later we woke up to a flooded floor in the kitchen and after investigation found the repaired connection had failed. I shut the water off to the sink and on 3/24/24 I called Maglish Plumbing and was asked if was an emergency situation. Because i had shut off the water to the sink I said no and was told to call back on Monday (03/25/24). I called Maglish back on Monday and asked to speak to speak to a manager. I was told to leave a voice mail and I did explain the situation. I didn't recieve a call back on Monday so I attempted to call Tuesday morning and was told that I was to be connected to the owner(****). **** was indisposed and was told that he would call me back. **** contacted me Tuesday afternoon and we discussed the situation regarding his disapproval of **** piping. My problem with this is: 1. If the tech had a issue with especially the **** female fitting then why wasn't it adressed during the repair? Instead I have a ruined floor and no use of my kitchen sink or dishwasher with no end in sight. 2. I am sure that I am not the only person in La Porte whose house has **** piping. If you are licensed plumber then you should have the capability to repair this product. 3. Why is this issue NOT BEING RESOLVED in a timely manner?
