  I would like to file a complaint on Sully's Towing and Recovery Inc. at 1002 S. Street , Princeton, IN 47670. My juvenile son ran his truck off the road and in a small ditch but could not get it out by himself, so he came back the next day to get the vehicle and it was gone. I was notified by the Gibson County Sheriff's Department(Officer ***** on Saturday the 27th at 1:45 pm) that it had been towed after the fact, nobody contacted me to see what the situation was with the truck. There were no other vehicles involved.
  The vehicle was wrongfully towed without my permission first of all. My son and I went up to retrieve my son's school computer out of the truck to keep it from being stolen on the next day. I ask them how much the towing bill was to haul it from ******** IN to ********** about 12 miles. The lady in the office printed out a bill for $416.20 and I inquired why it was so much, I basically got a BS story. There was an extra $140.00 fee and I ask her what this fee was for and she stated "an accident fee for hooking on and winching it on the truck". I told her there were no other vehicles involved, that it was not an accident crash...he hit some loose gravel and ran off the road but could not get the vehicle out on his own, no traction. To make a long story short, I came back on Tuesday morning to pick the truck up and Sully's gave me another bill for $496.20 . I had some words with the lady in charge and she stated that they were going to charge me $40 a day for four days and the truck was on their lot for two days (Saturday at 1:45 till Tuesday morning when they opened) . These people should not be in business, I have heard of numerous complaints from other individuals that they are "Crooks" , well I can assure you that is correct, and I let them know about it too. First they tow it without my permission and then they come up with this "Exorbitant Fee" , which is nothing short of robbery. They added on $140 fee for nothing. I appreciate immediate action.

  Sully's Towing was dispatched out on Aug 27th by the ****** County Sheriff's Department , for a vehicle involved in an accident in a ditch. We drove 25 miles to the scene and removed the vehicle from the ditch. And brought the vehicle to our facility because the driver had left the scene of an accident. Unfortunately we do charge a storage fee and with the way our system is set up it rolls over to the next day at midnight and the vehicle was picked up 8/30/22 @ 9:24am. there is an accident hook fee of 140.00 . and right now we also have a fuel surcharge due to the higher diesel prices. These are our standard prices for an Accident/Impound. Im sorry Mr ********* feels he was robbed but our prices are comparable to other companies around us.

  First of all the $140.00 fee was not warranted, the truck was sitting on the side of the road. Secondly, I never authorized , nor did I ask for any towing. My son was on the way to get the truck when it was towed, there was no leaving the scene of an accident... total lies. They were bow fishing and hit some loose gravel where the road transition from paved to gravel...no property damage and no other vehicle involved. The towing company is very dishonest and the ****** Sheriffs Department had no right towing the truck without my consent.

  I have attached the report the sheriff's department sent us . Please reference the last page (3). It states that there was a trespassing sign next to the truck, smashed into bridge. The driver probably should contacted the land owner. Like i mentioned in the last statement we were contacted by the sheriff's department and did the job we were requested to do.

  Again, there was no accident, NO DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK, NOBODY LEFT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, they were coming back to get the truck in the morning/they were young boys bowfishing, the truck was not damaged, it had a flat tire on the passenger side, it did not smash into a sign, it was not in a ditch, it was on the side of the road ...these are all lies or miss representation of the facts. The truck should not have been towed, it was on the side of a public road for a few hours while they slept NOT VIOLATING ANY LAWS ! I was NOT NOTIFIED by the ****** Sheriffs Department before the truck was towed or I could have informed them, the truck was sitting by the side of the road in the grass.
