On May 9, 2024, I went to fill up two 5-gallon gas cans at a ********************. It was almost $36 and some change, but I did not receive a receipt. Last week on May 17, 2024, I received a notification from *********** for $178.04 on my card for a pay-at-the-pump charge. I disputed this with ***********, and they told me to get back to them with the correct documentation, and reapplied the charge. This gas station is overcharging for products in the store as well, including gas. I had three different prices for two items over the course of two weeks, depending on who rang me up. One time, it was $8.11 when the husband, *****(rp is unsure of last name) rang me up, and it was $8 when the wife(rp is unsure of name) rang me up. They do not scan anything; they just type in the item and price. One person reported to me that the price on the sign and the price at the pump was a 56 cent difference.I made a post on ******** regarding this issue, and I received responses from other townspeople regarding the issue. One lady had a hold put on her card for 3 days and double-charged her a lot on her husband and sons cards. One man is quoted "I have stopped the pump at one gallon and the price on the pump was 45 cents higher than what the sign says it is per gallon".I would like the $142.00 refunded.
