    I had gone to the Arrow Cleaners to clean my wool coat that I had gotten many years ago but the coat was still in perfect condition. When I picked up my coat it had completely shrunk down several sizes. The coat was initially loose and breathable but after the washing it was completely tight and hard to move in it. They tried to stretch out the jacket but the damage was irreversible so I asked if they could give me an appropriate amount of money to purchase a new one (considering this one was no longer wearable by me). Wool coats are extremely expensive and hard to come by, and since I had this for years and had no receipt for it, I told them I would settle for a $180 reimbursement to find a coat that could replace it. I found a replacement for a wool jacket for this price and this was the best/cheapest I could find because it is now jacket season and all prices are inflated. Most wool jackets are also much more expensive now or are not 100% wool, but instead a polyester blend. Arrow Cleaners offered me $60 which I could not find a high quality 100% wool coat with. Considering they ruined my jacket due to inadequate care (you should not wash wool in high temperature), I would like a realistic amount of money ($180) that could replace my coat in this economy. I do not have a photo of a before and after because I left the jacket at the cleaners because I did not want to pay for the service due to the damage done.
