    I book a 3 night stay at Campbells Motel online 10/29/24 through **********. When my son arrived to check in he demanded a $100 deposit. Clearly we didn’t have that. He called me wanting it and explained I didn’t have another $100 dollars to give the hotel. He ended up hangin up on me. He wouldn’t let my son stay in the room. I was charged $244.43 for a room that is not even going to be used. This happened all within 30 minutes! It stated on paper that you pay $1 to the property. Nothing about $100. I asked for a refund through hotels. Com and they called hotel and he refused a refund. I want my money back.

    Dear Madam/Sir;

    We require incidental credit card or cash deposit upon check in for any damage or smoking in non smoking room clean up fees.

    We have sign posted at the check-in counter with this rule.

    Deposit is refundable when they don't do damage or smoke in room.

    When they make reservation online they are only charge for the room not for the incidental fees. 

    We have reached the resolution with ****** ***** (who checked-in here) and ******* ***** . The guest stayed here w/o deposit.

    We have allowed name change for ******* ***** and her son ****** ***** which is not allowed with online reservation once reservation is made.

    We did all we could to accomodate the guest. Her son stayed here and he was happy with his stay. ******* ***** made complaint but she did not stayed here.

    Any early check out or no show will not be refunded per our online prepaid reservation rules.
