    Gave down payment of over $10,000 for Fence addition in September 2024. Last contact January 2025. This gentleman has done excellent work for me in the past. Now he has disappeared. Wont answer phone or return my calls or Text messages

    10/7/24 I hired ****** Hensley to build a privacy fence. He wanted half of his bid of $6150. I gave him a check for $3150. He said it looked like an easy job and would be done quickly. 10/17/24 He came to get more money for **** supplies. He said all the big stuff was already purchased and on his trailer. I gave him another $500. I have screenshots of all the texts he sent saying when it would be done. The Days he said just kept changing. I finally gave him a final date and told him I would hire someone else. He did come out and put stakes and string at that point but disappeared again afterwards. I contacted him again and told him to either put up the fence or give me back my money by Friday 11/8. He did not respond so I contacted Cutting Edge Fencing to give me a quote. On 11/9 I looked out the windows and ****** was outside putting up flimsy posts. I went out and told him to stop immediately. He apologized and said he had family issues. I told him to take everything back and get a refund so he could pay me. I gave him until the 23rd. He asked about all the work he had done. I didn't consider stakes,string and a few poles to be much but I told him he could take the poles with him and I'd let him keep the $750 as long as I got my $3000 within 2 weeks. He said that was more than fair and he didn't need 2 weeks. He said I'd have my money by the next week. I haven't seen him or been contacted by him since that day. No money has been returned. The other fence co gave me a quote on 11/9 and completed the fence on 11/13. I tried to attach my screenshot conversations with ****** but it says file to large. I can print and send them if you need me to. If I can't resolve this through you I will be filing a suit against ****** Hensley Fencing.
