  **** *****, owner of Hunter Machining Services, LLC was hired on 10/3/22 to pick up a large pile of dirt after an above ground pool install on our residential property. I first saw signs of signs of unprofessionalism due to the extreme lack of communication prior to pickup date. My husband would leave several text messages and voicemails with no response unsure if we were actually still on the list for pickup. The reason I have decided to file a complaint is they have completely demolished our yard. Instead of simply picking up the dirt that we paid him $450 to do he instead decided to take the dirt to mound and mash all over my healthy grass NO where near the dirt pile. So instead of having dead grass where the dirt pile is we have been left with NO grass anywhere on that side of my yard but instead hard uneven dirt pile with clumps of hard clay. They managed to pound at least 3-4 inches of hard clay dirt (unrakeable) all over my left side of my yard. We completely expected for there to be left over dirt where our dirt pile was but they purposely spread and pounded hard dirt in avoidable areas with healthy grass. We are now left with approximately 640 sq feet of hard dirt as a yard now. I have reached out to the owner and his response was that it is to no fault of his own and that the result of our yard is the expectation. In order to come up with a resolution I expect a partial refund or for them to come back and finish the job that they were paid to do.

  I received this letter from you stating a complaint from *******************. I was asked to remove some dirt from there back yard after a pool install....in which I did that exact thing. Obviously customer is Not aware that while moving dirt with a skidsteer Machine it will leave marks in your lawn. I graded everything flat and smooth ready for grass seed. There is no other way of removing dirt of this size pile without a machine. I told her all she needs to do is reseed her yard like every other customer that gets this kinda work done. Normal operating procedures...of course that wasn't good enough for the ***** family. I just do this kind of dirt removal on the side to help out the pool installers.
