Date of service 4-25-23 After a spring break stay we came home to our just built home and I found a bed bug. Called this company and they inspected, determined it was a bed bug. I paid nearly ***** for a heat treatment in my home. I asked ******* that walked through the house with me what would the heat do to my paint? Pics on the walls, floors, and cabinets and was told all those things would be just fine. They do it all the time, I had nothing to worry about. I did remove everything in the list from the home. (Crayons, candles, guns and ammo, etc) I came to my house during the visit and the workers were gone to lunch with my home unattended, unlocked, and their running machines in my driveway. Once the treatment was complete they were supposed to leave the windows open. They didnt. When I came home that evening my 18ft velvet curtains were ruined. They tied them in a big knot with their black dirty hands so they were imbedded with deep wrinkles and black stains. My floors were also ruined, they completely buckled. Its taken me almost a year to get my house back together. I tried to get a resoultion with them but they didnt resolve the issue. They got away with ruining parts of my brand new home and charging me nearly ***** to do so! I have been devastated. At minimum I should have received a full refund from them. I did hire an attorney and they werent able to help me due to a document I had to sign from BBA stating their liabilities. They did pay ****** towards my curtains but my curtains had to be fully replaced for a cost of *******

In May of 2023, our Operations Director spoke to *******, who agreed to allow our on-staff flooring specialist to do any repair work needed.  Later that day, ******* let him know that she was going to get a second opinion on the flooring before allowing us to repair it.  Over the course of discussions, we offered several options, none of which we satisfactory to ****************.  Upon learning of her intent to *** our company, we stopped negotiations, as we believed that there could be no realistic resolution to this situation.  At last contact **************** was asking for $10,000.  That was in June 2023 before we received a call from someone saying they were her attorney and would be forwarding documents to us for suit.  Those documents never arrived.  Now, here we are another 9 months later with a new complaint filed with BBB.

We did pay for the curtains, as indicated in ******************** complaint. The amount we paid was an agreed upon amount based on discussions with ****************.

On April 1 I paid Instant Bed Bug Assassins (IBBA) of *********** $2,300 for guaranteed eradication of bed bugs via whole home heat treatment. After the heat treatment was performed we continued to see live bugs, they came to treat with chemicals 1 week after. After the chemical treatment I began to notice bed bugs in more locations than before. They have now treated the house with chemicals 4 times and steam twice and one heat treatment, I now have bed bugs not only in bedrooms but also in my living room, bathroom and kitchen

We did complete the heat for **************** on the date he stated.  Since his complaint, we have returned to his home and re-heated the entire home (5/2/23), completed a one-week follow-up (5/9/23), and a steam/spray (5/15/23) all at no additional charge.  We have not heard anything further from **************** since May 15th and, as such, are operating under the assumption that he no longer has any issues.  His original service did come with a 60-day guarantee, which he is still under.  Should he have any further issues, we will continue to work with him to resolve them.
