  If I could give zero stars, I would. **** seemed very personable during the quoting process which is one of the reasons we chose him to do the work. He was quick to get us the estimate and answer any questions we had. We hired **** to demo our existing shower/bath and install a walk in tile shower. The shower was completed on a Saturday afternoon and when we turned the water on that following Monday evening, there was water leaking in two places, the shower head connection in the wall and through the floor into the basement. When I contacted **** about the leak in the wall his response was, I was worried about that. Which confuses me because he never mentioned anything about potential leaks upon finishing the project. **** said he would be out to fix the problem areas that following weekend since he was out of town for a family emergency at the time but was a no show and ignored my text messages when the weekend came. Once I asked for a refund, he said he was still out of town and that we hadnt given him a chance to fix it. We scheduled to have him come fix it that next Monday but instead were met with more excuses. After getting 2nd and 3rd opinions from true professionals, they said the work done is entirely unacceptable and that the shower pan/floor needs to be replaced yet again. Upon ripping everything back up, weve found a number of issues that were done out of pure negligence. After asking for a refund numerous times and giving multiple opportunities to fix his work, we are moving on from this stressful nightmare. If you are considering this company for a project, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere.

  The owner of this business took advantage of my elderly relatives. The owner quoted on some work that needed to be done. He then requested a large deposit of several thousand dollars. He promised to have the work done within 60 days. He then disappeared and did not return phone messages or text messages. Finally, my relatives reached out to the individual who referred Freedom Built. After some pressure from his referral source, the owner finally returned one phone call with a story about being out of town tending to a sick relative. After waiting another 30 days, several more text messages and phone messages were sent that did not get returned. The final text message to the owner stated we would find someone else to perform the work and we asked for the deposit to be returned. The owner did send one final text saying that the money was used to buy materials for the job and he could arrange for us to pick up the materials. We called his bluff and said we would gladly pick up the materials he supposedly purchased. We have not heard back from the owner since. He has yet to produce the materials he supposedly purchased or return the deposit. I cannot recommend strongly enough to stay away from this business. Reading through other BBB reviews and Yelp reviews it appears that taking large deposits and running is a pattern with the owner of this company.

  This person has no idea whats going on between me and ***. This person is not on the contract or scope of work, and is nowhere listed on any payment made to reserve work being done or materials being bought. Materials were ordered with the customer NOT listed aboves deposit, and by law and contract I do not have to communicate with anyone but the customer, in which we have spoken. My Uncle, ********************* died March 4th and was just buried this last Friday. Once again, this person making a complaint is not listed as any next of kin, power or attorneys, or listed on the contract and has no legal right to make any complaints as they are not directly related to this person at all.
