  When I first brought my dog here, my dog was seen in the exam room with me present. Later, on two back to back visits, my dog was taken away from me to "The Back". My dogs behavior changed at the vets after his visits to "the back". I informed this place I would not allow my dog to be taken again, of which I was assured the vet would come to the exam room. He has been back to this vet facility twice with this becoming an issue yet again. The vet tech started out telling me our dog was to receive a rabies shot which was not due. She then stated she would be taking my dog to the back, to which I said no, the vet will need to come here. The tech then became a bit touchy in her attitude and she "Informed" me my dog "Would" be taken from me if needed for the protection of everyone there. I don't think so *****. It was obvious the only one needing protection here was my dog. When the vet and tech re-entered the room they both bordered on hostile attitudes. Neither of them showed any friendly overtures. The vet gave a harsh "No" accompanied by tightening her grip on my dogs face. That was when the assistant was attempting to cut my dogs nails and he growled at her. He had good reason. He yelped also, which got him a head jerk from the vet and I ended the nail cut. Neither showed care or concern for his comfort - None, Zilch, Zero, ****, Need I say more? The vet was naming the shots as she gave them and she said "this is the rabies". My husband and I objected, again, and suddenly it became something else. What? I had come to this visit with the intention of scheduling a teeth cleaning for my dog but while I was describing the condition of his teeth, the vet broke in and in an all time off-putting manner stated, I can't tell you cause I can't see his teeth. She was mistakenly under the impression I was asking for her permission to have my dogs teeth cleaned. The only thing this place has accomplished - is to deter me from ever providing another dog a good home. Moving On.

  This the second time i have issues with this facility. In March i boarded my dog for a week and have done so several times before. Always got shots there. This time they billed me an office visit even though dog was there and added ***** on to the bill plus rate increased to ***** a day without letting me know from ***** a day. He drank 3 bowls of water like he hadnt had any water for days upon arriving home. Manager said he was a nervous dog, next time get the vet to give him benadryl. I told them i would give them another shot to take care of our dog. Seemed reasonable. This time i took him in with ********, told them not to take him to vet without authorization from me again. They called today, tried o **** up my bill again. He had a hot spot they said and vet wanted to prescribe meds. I told them i had not authorized a vet visit. They didnt charge me for a visit, i had my daughter go get my dog today. After paying the ****** they were going to try and hose me again. I have pics of my dog you cant even see a red spot without really pulling hair back very minimal. Just another way to try and **** up the bill. Not going to go back again to them!!!
