    They did not collect enough hair to even do a test and did not contact me concerning this for at least 17 days. I was not given anything stating a 30 day policy until I contacted them at a later date. The test was never performed and because it wasn't I went to jail. I just want my money returned.

    The complainant presented to our facility on 1/23/2024 for a hair follicle drug screen collection.  The hair sample was collected at that time in accordance with standard procedures as outlined by the drug screen manufacturer.  The sample was sent to the laboratory.  At the laboratory the drug screen sample was rejected and deemed "Quantity Not Sufficient."  The donor was notified that the test was insufficient and she would need to repeat the test. The donor did not present for a repeat test. 
    On 1/8/2025, the donor contacted our facility requesting a refund for the drug screen that was collected on 1/23/2024.  The donor was informed that the issue would be escalated to management. Management discussed the issue and found that in accordance with the refund policy, a refund would not be issued. The policy states that a repeat test will be conducted at no charge to the costumer within 30 days of the original collection date.  The initial collection was well outside of the 30 day window. 
    The complainant was contacted by a manager and informed that a refund would not be issued.  The complainant stated she was informed following the Quantity Not Sufficient result that she would need to complete another test but was unable to find a ride to the facility and therefore did not submit for a repeat test.  The complainant requested a copy of the refund policy and the policy was issued to her on 1/10/25. 
    Upon receiving notification of this complaint, a manager attempted to reach out to the complainant via phone to issue a refund and resolve this issue. The contact phone number the complainant left with our collection site has been disconnected.  A letter to the last know address on file of the complainant has been sent via US postal service, requesting the complainant contact our collection site for resolution.
