Date- 12/6/24 Time- 5:00-6:45 pm Reliant Heating and Air came to our home to install a Smart Thermostat. ***** ( don't know his last name but I believe he is the owner) installed it and was setting it up for us. He told my husband it would cost $515.00......but my husband said to him " it isn't working" so why would I pay you. *****, the owner, said "there's no power" ......"it's above my pay grade". Then ***** said "it's above my pay grade". He then started saying all kinds of names(***** *****, ***** ********, *****.....) "whoever the h*** you are"(speaking to my husband "***** ******* *). On 12/5/24, ***** installed a new motor for us and it worked fine. ***** talked us into a NEW SMART THERMOSTAT. We agreed and this is why he came back today. Our furnace isn't working now and he left ranting about how " there are shenanigans going on here" and " he will just place a lein on the house"! If our heat doesn't work then why would we pay for anything? He left us without heat! I am in disbelief! We have never experienced such unprofessional behavior! It's Friday night and who can help us? No one!***** was the one that talked us into the new Thermostat and couldn't install it correctly and make it communicate, so he just leaves us hanging! This is uncalled for.

There wasnt 240v power at the furnace after replacing the blower motor, thermostat and wired outdoor temperature sensor to verify my suspicions of network interference through the wifi and/or the security system, even without a wireless outdoor temperature sensor installed. There was *********** interference on the multi rotational blower motor where the rotation was set upon installation. But *********** can reverse/change the leads to make the blower motor spin the wrong direction just as switching the yellow and orange wires on the ************ (made by *********). The timing to me seem deliberate by design. The interference was to procure a specific outcome so some type of claim could be filed. I suspect alias names are being used to mimic others or to link my work to the water leak on the washer. Reliant doesnt do plumbing on homes not owned by *******. I cant connect the dots but there is some type of attempted fraud or identity theft going on behind the scene or hacking by others through connectable devices like the Honeywell Vision Pro thermostat. How *****
County IL and a current legal matter fits in Im not sure. Not a coincidence that another contractor/individual was there just after I left.

The job was complete when the power was turned back on by others to the *** according to ***** *******. The battery powered non-WiFi (or is suppose to be non-wifi connected) smart thermostat was set up with the power off. So normal operation would begin as soon as the power was turned back on to the furnace. Payment in full for non-covered items (wired temp sensor) and labor as determined by the home warranty has not been made. Only a partial payment to cover parts. I accepted this payment arrangement given the "out of pocket costs" ***** conveniently made to others WITHIN an hour of leaving the property, despite having a home warranty where another contractor could have been dispatched without paying another trade fee. This tells me it's possibly related to "The Rustic Boutique" ductless mini-split and ADT Security System wireless interference problems with ********** ductless mini-split. Who all the players are in this manufactured trust/estate/medicaid/ debt collector game I don't know. But I wish I did. As far as I'm concerned this complaint is over.
