  I went in to purchase my son's first car, I explained that I live paycheck to paycheck, I am currently paying my own vehicle off, and did not want to purchase something expensive that I would be paying on for a long time, especially something new for my son. I had gone there specifically to look at an older vehicle that had over ******* miles, and was over $7,000 and I was going to pay $5,000 down with money from my tax return. I figured that was the easiest and smartest thing I to do and I could get it paid off fast, just needed to get financing for the remaining balance. But i was told I couldn't get financing for that car because of the amount of miles, and was told about another car that was a 2018 and was a ********* I was not happy about this because, it's my kids first car, he doesn't need something this new, especially a ********. They told me it had just been serviced and it was in great condition, nothing was wrong with it, so we took it for a test drive, and it has more bells and whistles than mine so I did not notice all the new things about it, but it drove well during that short drive we took, so they didn't allow us to discuss the other car any further and just got me approved for the newer one. We made them fix the passenger door because it would not open well, looked like it had been hit. We got home, and a few days later, engine light, power of steering light, and tire pressure light came on. I had them do a diagnostic check, where they charged me over $300 told me I need a new thermostat, tire sensors, suspension, break pads, and all kinds of other things, which totalled out at over $5,000!! I was livid, I owe $12,200 now on this pos they assured me was perfect. They told me they would work with me and pay half, but they expect me to half of that?! I can't afford this, and was just completely taken advantage of. Mechanics and tire people told me that I should be getting a lawyer. I feel more stressed now than I was before. Never buying here again.

  Sold my fianc and I a vehicle that has numerous problems, thank God I got the warranty. Despite having a bumper to bumper warranty, they try to argue with me everytime we take it in when it had a problem. Then after driving for less than 10k miles we decided to talk about trading it in. They proceeded to offer us 11k under what was sold to us and we bought it used. Terrible service from their sales team all the way to their management. Would recommend to anyone to stay far away from any Dorsett locations!
