********************* of PALADIN sent two people to get us to sign a contract to help fight my 85 year old fathers Fire Insurance Claim. After we fired him for poor behavior and performance he violently and viciously attacked and berated us:1- ***** Called the building department to stop our restoration efforts.2- *************** our insurance company we were submitting fraudulent claims.3- ***** Used EXTORTION to take more money before he would release us from the contract.4- ***** Sent us Fraudulent Bogus Invoices to try to collect extra moneys in the amount of $1600.63 Attached doc1, the original contract for 10% of the fire claim. We were assured in person by ********************* there were no other fees associated with this contract and this fraudulent invoice was only created after we involved our lawyer to try to resolve the issue. Attached doc2, the fraudulent invoice he worked out after we hired a lawyer to ask him to please release the contract. NOTE We paid the 10% IN FULL, this was after that when he refused to release the contract which affected our relationship with our Insurance company, ******************** In emails, he agreed to take $800 so we could move on. Attached doc3, **** for our Attorney $852.82 Final release contract dated Jan 19, 2023 which was the Extortion monies we had to pay to be released. Also note that ********************* of Paladin put everything in email so all these allegations can be proven as facts. We paid Paladin over $8000 thousand dollars, $800 of which was Fraudulent and not part of our contract. This cost us an additional $852.82 for Attorney fees. Since Paladin was spiteful in not releasing our contract until he was given more money for nothing, we also demand the Attorney fees be returned. Total owed us to settle this complaint is $1652.82

****************** does not accurately represent the final settlement agreement or reason for termination of contract. ***************** sent a letter with his insurance adjuster attached attacking me, my company and my staff.  After months of meetings, phone calls, emails, estimates and other forms of communication to help settle his insurance claim, ***** sends Paladin Insurance Advocates an email terminating services. We let him know we would get the final invoice together and send it over to him for payment. At this time he was asked to refrain from the attempted slander contained in his emails. ***** at this time claims no money is due. After the invoice is sent to him, on 6/24/2022, he responds with an agreement to pay. The structure portion of this agreement was paid in full. The ******* retained a lawyer who reached out to resolve the contents portion of the claim. We provided the law firm with the invoices requested and agreed to issue a release once paid. ****************** brought a check to the office and was handed notarized release papers as a result. ******************** claim increased over 100%. Insurance claims can be very difficult on the families and sometimes we feel the brunt of that backlash. I have included the emails where ****************** says we did a great job but had some complaints about having to help with the contents portion. This is standard. We do our best from pictures and information given by the policy holder but always refer to the insured for a final review or any help needed to identify what something might be so it is priced correctly. We settled for half of the amount requested just to part ways. Now ***************** would like those funds retuned and his lawyer fees paid. it has been 11 months. If he was unhappy with the settlement there has been plenty of time to discuss it over the past year. His current behavior and complaints are nothing more than a vicious attack on my name and my company. He is making these claims on multiple social media platforms as well. We have submitted multiple documents and email threads to show the true nature of the issue at hand.

I am rejecting this response because: ************* has lied to the BBB, attached are emails and supporting documents.

We have submitted the same documents and communication logs, however our file we submitted does include the entire thread as well as correspondence with the attorney ****************** hired. The settlement offer we accepted was offered to us by ******************. It has been well over 10 months. At no time has ****************** reached out to Paladin Insurance Advocates or myself to discuss being unhappy with the settlement. Our contract also clearly states that any legal fees will be the responsibility of the customer. I am very sorry that ****************** is unhappy with the settlement agreement after termination of contract. He clearly states he was happy with the work done except for an issue with a miscommunication with an office staff member. The release from contract was signed, notarized and sent to all parties involved as agreed upon. We were paid a very small fee for the work that was completed up to the point of termination of contract. We accepted a settlement of half of what was owed to the company and we stand by the settlement being fair. At this time we believe this file is resolved.
