    Late summer 2023:
    I went by to purchase chemicals to close my pool and to ask about getting a new pool liner. I was told I didn't need to add chemicals because the new liner would be installed in November. November went by with no contact from Heritage.
    2024:
    I called after the first of the year to check on the pool liner. I was told someone would be coming by soon to gather info to prepare the estimate. A few months went by before someone was sent out. Several weeks later, I received a call with an estimate and a request for a down payment. I provided credit card info and paid the down payment.
    I spoke with them in May about the new liner and opening my pool. I was told that I would be in the pool by the second week in June at the latest.
    The second week of June I dropped by Heritage again. I was told that they don't do work on pools in November. This is interesting since they did not sell me closing chemicals due to the liner being replaced and closing would be finished in November. I was also told that they were a couple of weeks behind because they do not open pools until June. This was interesting considering Memorial Day is a time for pool parties.
    Due to not having closing chemicals added, my pool is full of black algae. At this time I told them I was done and got my down payment back. According to them, I had been speaking to the owner.
