On December 2nd 2023. Me and my wife traveled. traveled to ********************* to buy a 2023 ***** Goldwing DCT. Vin *****************. The trip one way was 525 miles one way. While negating the price of the bike on the phone with **** the salesman was told that the bike had 22 miles on it, I paid the $500.00 deposit, and completed the finance application. When we arrived at the shop the bike had 34 miles on it, I asked why the change in miles the salesman inform me that they serviced it and checked it out. I started the bike the low tire light was on, they corrected that. Then I test drove the Bike it got stuck in 3rd gear and was smoking from the engine. I was no more than a block from the shop. When I took it back and cut it off, it would not start because it was in 3rd gear. With the flashing Snowflakes on the dash. The service manager (******************* ) looked at it and informed me there was nothing wrong with the bike and he didnt get any codes. He also told be that they test drove it while I was waiting in the customers waiting room. I drove it again with no issues. I proceeded with the bike purchase. Tailored it back to ****** *******. The next day (Sunday) I drove it around the block and the snowflakes came back on the dash again, I pulled the bike over to the side of the road, cut off the engine and restarted it, the lights went away.I call Lake City Powers Sports Monday morning Dec 4th, 2023, and informed them what happen and the bike has transmission issues, the service manager told me to take the bike to the local dealership and have the clutches re-initialization. The bike stayed parked in my garage that entire week. After doing some research on my own I found that I could do the clutch re-initialization myself after the bike warmed up.On Saturday Dec 9th 2023 I installed a lot of chrome accessories on the bike and around 2pm I took it out for a drive. The bike locked up in 5the gear and I had to have it towed home. The bikes current mileage is 49 miles. I have driven this bike less than 17 miles. I feel that the bike had these issues before the sale. This is a very big issue, taking to lake City this morning Dec 11th 2023 The sales manager (*********************) told me I could trade the bike in at another dealership, I replied No. I want the New bike that I paid for not a repaired. He told me that the Service Manager was not in today (out Sick) and that he would call me on Tuesday or Wednesday for further instructions.I called back several times and left messages for someone to call me back. No one called me back I started a customer complaint with ***** Powersports manufacturing. Case # ********. When I spoke to ***** they informed me they couldnt do anything until the bike was in the repair shop.Dec, 12th 2023 I towed to bike to ******** Power Sports in ********** **. I explained the issue to them, and they were a little baffled saying this is a new bike.I few days later I checked back in with Ride ********* Sports and the Service advisor told me that the bike has done the same thing with they twice that replaced a few parts per *****s instruction but nothing fixed it.On or around January the 8th 2024 I went to check on the ********** and **** Informed me that they were authorized to order about 31 parts that could be wrong with the bike and when they come in they would disassemble the bike and repair it.Ride ********* Sports has completely disassembled this bike, Engine was completely removed along with all other ****************.On January 26th I called and checked on the **********. **** told me that they had disassembled the bike, and they could find any damaged or worn parts. On 29th January 2024 I called ***** Customer Service Again And tried to get this issue escalated. I was told that tat the area ***** Rep is due back in ********** in about 2 weeks and that all they could do, also per there warranty guidelines they are not responsible for the down time that the customer doesnt have the bike.I have called ********************* numerous times and each time I get the answer ********************* is with another customer and he will call me back, which he never does. Also, I was told that ***** is just going to keep replacing parts until they find one that works. Today is March 6, 2024, Ride ********* Sports just called me they have finally put the bike back together and now it has new problems, The bike does not have any ride modes, the manual shifting mode is not working, the bike now has a (P) code #2, and they can't re-initialization the clutches. They are contacting ***** Manufacturing as to what to do. The last time they contacted the ***** field rep about this bike they waited two weeks for him to come and he never showed up.My 2023 ***** Goldwing has been in the shop since 12/12/2023. I have made three payments on the bike and three insurance payments on a bike I don't have. I have only ridden 12 miles. I do NOT have any faith in this bike. I am requesting that they either they buy it at back full price or replace it and reimburse me for the accessories I added to the bike. estimated $900.00 I paid over $27,000.00 Plus Taxes and Tag Fees and Sales Tax.
