Hello I saw her once for counseling. I gave her my insurance info and my debit card info. She said she would bill insurance and assured me via email that she would not charge my card without notifying me first. She states she could not bill my insurance because it was inactive which is not true. Instead of telling me this so I contact my insurance to clear this up she simply charged my card without notifying me. My bank statement did not say who made the charge so I thought it was fraudulent and cancelled my card. I later found out it was her. I confronted her and she was unsympathetic. I told her she flat out lied to me as she did not notify me prior to the charge and she denied it. She then because rude and very threatening. I then contacted my insurance and cleared it up easily. She was in network but they had an old office address. They contacted her and she finally agreed to refund my money without any apology for her lying and inappropriate behavior. Completely unprofessional. I've never had a medical professional lie to my face and act in such a manner. Still waiting for my refund thank you.

All clients sign an authorization for their credit card to be held on filed and charged after insurance is filed for balance due.  Client's insurance was filed and the claim was denied.  I processed his credit card for services rendered.  He harassed me, called, sent emails, disputed the charge, made a ****** review, and filed a complaint with the better business bureau because he had to actually pay for his counseling appointment that his insurance claim denied.  All clients sign an agreement that they will not dispute charges and they are authorizing the charges on their credit card for services rendered.  I have never in my life had a client this resistant to wanting to pay for services rendered.  I spoke with the insurance company, was willing to reverse charges, however he cancelled his card and the insurance company denied the claim a second time even after they stated that the first one was denied in error.

Yes after much difficulty she said she would reverse the charge but did not do so. I had to cancel my debit card because she made a charge without notifying me when she promised to do so in advance I thought it was a fraudulent charge. The bank said I would get the reversal if she did it. This is the second time she lied. I never harassed her. She became aggressive and threatening to me
