  We finally completed our backyard project with Green Light Lawn Care which utilized almost every facet of their business. There were many incidents and concerns which popped up during this 5 month project but I will cite the major ones. The only GREEN light in our experience, was the lawn care service. **** is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and responds very quickly with service.YELLOW light: Beware of their proposals! Print each proposal and date it as if any part of the proposal is revised, the proposal is replaced with the most recent with the initial date. As a result, you can not compare the proposals and prices change even when there was no change to the job. Change orders that take place during the project are not initialed or signed by the customer prior to invoice.RED **********************: ***************** ***** has very limited knowledge and resources of plants and trees. He placed trees in areas which they will outgrow. At the time of planting, I specifically asked him if the trees are too big for that area and responded, No, they will be fine! After research I did on my own, the trees were in fact too big for that area and other areas also. I requested that the trees be moved or replaced. I was told to trim them back. A great lack of integrity to step up and to do what is right. Grass seed was thrown into mulch beds and now there is grass growing in the beds.We will not do business with Green Light Lawn Care. If you dont care and allow them to do whatever they propose at their cost, you will probably will not have this experience but what will your landscape look like in a year, two, three or five?   I checked in with Greg whom is an Indiana Accredited Horticulturist. I had him view the photos along with consultation of his research into the Latin cultivars that were used. His findings were that this would have been his choice as well for this location being that your desire was for a privacy screen. Further conversation with him about the pruning led to the following. “The spacing looks good” “A bit of pruning may be done if desired” “The plantings in question will take 8-10 years to fill in that area if they end up spreading that much”
  I also reached out to the nursery vendor and spoke with them about sizing. They also indicated “We have never seen, nor would we expect them to grow to 6’ in width”
  Below is the correspondence we had with you guys to help bring your project to a close. We originally had different plantings in these areas on our design. There were over 70 + changes made to the landscape design and quote we put together for you guys. One of which included making the landscape beds smaller and adding the plantings in question. Please see below:
  
  7/14/2023 In efforts to be on the same page as the client from a design perspective, Kevin revamped the design
  with client changes represented as best as possible.

  7/17/2023 Client responds:
  < "would like a couple of evergreens around the privacy screens."
  < wants to add a couple of rock steps from the pool to the deck box.
  < asks about grading
  < asks for a 2D of front landscape
  < asks if I changed out the front hydrangeas for boxwoods.
  < asks what is the next step?
  
  Kevin responds: "when you say evergreens, do you want upright arborvitaes like pyramidal
  pyramidal arborvitaes or just evergreen shrubs like more boxwoods?"
  
  Client responds: "Yes, Pyramidal arbs."
