    Looks like most of the reviews for Cinderbox are outdated. Adding my recent experience: Took about 3 weeks to get an appointment. Tech came and said fireplace was fine after he looked at it and turned it on. Tech said we could call for a year after service. Flame diminished about 20 minutes after he left. Called to ask about it. The arrogant, condescending gentleman that I spoke with was not helpful and really not interested in providing any kind of customer service. Said there was only so much they could do, but since they did nothing other than turn on the fireplace that was a ridiculous thing for him to say. If I could give less than 1 star I would because to pay almost $200 for nothing is outrageous. I am disappointed to the point of tears.

    *****, I will be calling you to confirm you would still like the free return visit you set up during your follow up phone call with the technician who was at your home. That visit is currently scheduled for 2 technicians (himself and another technician) to come back to your home (again, at no charge) on Dec. 13th. During the follow up call, he explained there are a couple reasons this could have happened after he left, but could not have known while he was there as no issues presented while at your home. The technician who was at your home inspected your unit (as requested). This included making sure the unit was functioning properly, clearance to combustibles were met, checked for any gas leaks and recommended a C/O detector. (As stated in your report).
