Middle of October of this year, I went to the aforementioned location seeking furniture on a lease or sales agreement. I utilized this store ************** a few years prior paying off my account in full with no late payments. An acquaintance of mine, Emily ******, was also in attendance while I was shopping was there as well. I had everything picked out that I needed, and Emily was there for the soul purpose of helping me atleast pay a down payment so I could get my furniture delivered to me the next day. Everything was kosher or atleast I thought. The next day, I received a phone call from the store's manager, who I don't remember if she had said her full name or not, but somehow my personal references didn't check out so to speak, and that I was denied credit. Some of the store's employees can verify that I had paid off my accounts at the other store, and shouldn't have had issues.
A few weeks later, I attempted to call the ********* store in hopes that whatever happened in ******** was just a mistake, and I requested two tvs from the manager at the time of Johna, ******************************************************************** and she said that she would have to get approval because I supposedly ********************************************, which I know I do not have a ************, and well I'm fairly certain I'm not **********. However, when renting from a lease to own store, I don't think that that was a stipulation to receive credit, considering I had been good on my word and contracts at the ******* store, regardless if I knew a manager or employee at all.

      Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2023/01/11) */
We try our best to rent merchandise to everyone, this is our business our livelihood. When we deny renting to a customer it is because the Rental Order Form was not completed, or the information did not meet the company requirements. In this case the personal references were unavailable to give an approval rating.

      Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2023/01/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is unacceptable to me, you hurt my reputation and I was helping out people and my last name was never ******, it is ****, and you can receive public record from the ****** County Courthouse, ************. I never had any type of record before and what was stated above is considered pergery, therefore, I will settle out of court, with the lump sum of $****** and multiple donations totaling $***** to local charities and pay for my furniture at ************************ $*****, under the account name Stacey ****, once the payment to *** is paid, delivery will be scheduled, and the $****** can be deposited using my ****** account utilizing my phone number which is found in the complaint.
