6/27/24: I purchased baby bedding.This was custom baby bedding along with a car seat tent, so I knew there was going to be a wait time - which I agreed to. It showed an estimated ship date of 8/27/24. I agreed to it. No problem.
8/27/24 comes and goes with no update. I go in the hospital 8/29/24 and after coming home decide to reach out to them about my order and was told it would ship out.. weeks go by and I finally receive PART of my order on 10/3/24 with a paper showing the remainder will ship separate.
I decide to reach out about the remainder of my order and was told ‘ it’s in shipping it will ship out this week ‘ between then and now that’s the answer I have been given.. ‘ it’s in shipping and will ship out this week ‘
1/6/2025 I reached out to get an update and stated that I have been more than patient and understanding and I want the remainder of my order. I also stated I would file a dispute through my bank if this isn’t resolved. I was then called a thief because ‘ I would rather steal than wait for the remainder of my items ‘ (mind you I have waited a very generous amount of time!) and also told they were closing my account and transferring it to the fraud department. After explaining to them I am not stealing, I would only file a dispute as a last resort and that I just want the rest of my order they replied with ‘ luckily for me their roads are closed from the ice ‘ whatever that means?
I have filed a dispute with Shopify and even stated to them I want either the remainder of my order, a partial refund or a full refund and I will send what I have received back.
Had I known this was going to be the outcome I would have looked elsewhere for baby bedding. The communication and the way they respond to customers is ridiculous.. they were very nice and responsive until they got my money. also.. if anyone is stealing it’s them.. they have my money and I only have PART of my order!

Requesting a refund for 2 orders placed by myself and my daughter over a year ago. They are accusing me of being a scammer, being manipulated, and committing fraud. I have emails and order numbers, but they don’t care.Business Response

This person is crazy. She was asked yesterday for her PayPal email so she could be refunded for her order. She said she didn't want a refund! Then she lied and said she placed 2 orders then trying to get $495 back. She will be refunded for only 1 order she placed. And it is even more crazy that you guys allow wack jobs to manipulate and come at companies like this.
This will not be entertained any further. You guys can babysit her, we are getting her out of our hair.

I ordered a crib set from the business on May 18. I contacted the business several times to inquire when my purchase would be shipped. Every time I check the website it would say still in production they kept telling me they were shipping time was 6 to 8 weeks from the time it was purchased. I continue to email and find out where my purchase was and was told it would be shipped the next week when I inquired why it was not shipped, because on the website, it said it was still in production The only response I got was your order was canceled I have since contacted them several times asking them what that means am I getting a full refund? If so, when can I expect that and have received no response. I have not received the refund in my account, so I do not know their intentions, I need help to recover my money which was over $200Customer Answer

I ordered the bedding on May 21st. I was told 6-8 weeks. Well last week I contacted them about a refund and was told it would ship last week. Well here again it has not shipped so I contacted them again and she says next week. I feel like this is a scam. I paid $145 and she tells me it’s a 25% restocking fee which was fine but then I was told the remainder would be put in for a store credit. What makes her think people ever want to shop there? So I guess she got all my money and is gonna keep it and me never get the product. They should be shut down because after reading the reviews, she does this to everyone and gets away with it.Business Response

DBC is a business. Yes, all items are made to order for each customer after they purchase. DBC relocated to another state outside of this bbb branch. This information has been provided on the website, DBC Facebook page, and on newsletters informing customers that DBC Headquarters was relocating.
Whoever this individual is since that was not provided, she can read the store policy in the Shipping Policy page. Yes. There are no refunds or returns. There is a 25% restocking fee and the remaining is issued as a store credit if they choose to cancel. As all items are made to order. This is not China import mart like this country is use to.
Reading policies is important. All customers receive their order.

Since we were not provided with the information prior to having repsond. Customer service did find the conversation they had with this female. This order was not for her. This is a desperation of money. Since the order is jot for her, she will end up filing a chargeback.

I am rejecting this response because:I have all the emails from this company where I constantly asked where my product was and she was paid all her money up front. It was past the 8 weeks to ship as stated in her policy. She should not be allowed to keep scamming people as such. All the reviews on this business should tell everyone something. She gets caught and tries to bully herself out of trouble. Not professional and the upmost scam.

I ordered a crib bedding set from this company when I received the bedding I tried the sheet on my baby's crib mattress and it was way to small. I immediately contacted the seller about the sheet being to small. They were extremely defensive off the bat accused me of not having a crib mattress and accused me of washing the sheet. Im not sure about anyone else but I've never had a sheet that I couldn't wash and there are no labels stating not to wash the sheet that goes on the mattress. Then whoever was messaging me started calling me a fraud and defrading me. I've NEVER had anyone in customer service speak to me or accuse me like that. I just had to laugh bc it was so hostile. This is my 2nd crib set and my 3rd purchase all together and I can guarantee it will be my last. I seriously hope this company treats there employees better than they treat there customers, but anyone thinking to purchase from them I'd definitely go somewhere else. i wish i would of seen thenumerous complaints listed on this site before I gave them my money.Business Response

This person shrunk the sheet, she was told how to get the fibers to relax from it being dried with heat. You can read all the messages. As you can clearly see the hostile person calling DBC a "crack" business. When she is the one that damaged the product.

This person is ****** the sheet was taken out of the mail and tried on the mattress it is clearly not made correctly if you look at the seams. She was sent a picture of the sheet rolling my crib mattress up like a taco bc its not the right size. It was never washed never dried and not sure how you can look at a picture and accuse someone unless you can not stand behind the products that you sell. Again the sheet was NEVER washed it was taken from the mail and tried on, they just don't want to take responsibility for selling something that doesn't fit
