    As part of a contract for purchasing a house, seller hired Hathaway to service the HVAC and make any needed repairs/replacements. Shortly after move in, I noticed A/C not keeping up. Noticed the outdoor unit had not been cleaned, filter had not been changed, and holes in ductwork. I reached out to my warranty company and had them inspect it, they noticed that service stated in the invoice, wasn’t actually completed and a couple parts needed replacement. ** *** also stated they would recommend simply replacing the whole system due to age. ***** ******* said they provided the invoice (#9) showing Hathaway Heating and cooling “performed work” on the unit and signed off on it. Garret with Hathaway stated he did not recall the invoice in question from 6/23 and also mentioned nor has he provided service on the house since winter last year. The only service completed on the date of invoice was related to A-Coil Condensation. Can’t get Hathaway to provide proof of HVAC Certification, proof of service in winter, or proper invoice from condensation assessment. Won’t respond to multiple texts, calls, and voice messages left over the past few weeks.
