    I had rented with Cornerstone for approximately 3.5 years when I received notice that the owners were selling the property and Cornerstone would not be renewing my lease. They informed me that the owners would possibly provide a move out bonus if they sold before the lease was up.

    I eventually found a new place and informed Cornerstone of my move and provided two move out dates, which they approved via email. I left the property on June 27th, cleaned the unit and left the key with a note containing my new address for the return of my deposit, per the instructions of the rental manager, Kirill.

    Since then, I have been told twice now that my deposit has been mailed to me, and here, an entire month later, I have yet to receiv my deposit back. I have emailed and called and texted dozens of times, left multiple messages with their answerting service and NO ONE had returned my call or my emails. They removed my account from their app so I cannot reach out there and in the meantime I have called, texted, and emailed every contact I have for them, only to receive one text late last week that the check was being mailed on Monday of this week. It is now Thursday and I have yet to receive my deposit back. I live a few miles from their office- there is NO WAY mail it would take this long to get to me.

    I have been played, ignored, and staright up taken for a fool by this management company, and what mankes me most angry is that there were 1.5 years I was not working during the pandemic and I made paying my rent my TOP PRIPORITY and was never late. They ALWAYS got their money and I feel as if I am not a priority at all. They have shown no regard for my time and energy, and I just want my check.

    Completely unacceptable. I liv in a college town and I suppose they think they can treat me like some college freshman new to town. Not the case.

    Cornerstone Properties did finally return my deposit.

    The issue is resolved.
