      We bought a 2024 Polaris RZR turbo r 4 roughly 3-4 months ago and bought the expensive bumper to bumper warranty and was told that it covered everything except the plastic outside pieces. Now taking it in to get serviced and a new belt we are told that the warranty may not cover the back plastic piece the belt that broke when the belt broke. It also won’t cover the belt etc.

      Thank you for taking the time to let us know your concern. When the machine was dropped off on Monday, we did inform that we would need to submit to Warranty for approval, as they approve repairs, not Jay Hatfield Motorsports. Manufacturer ltd warranties and extended service contracts generally do not cover maintenance items such as belts, hoses, pads, fluids, etc. At the time of purchase, there was a product discussed, Wear Care Plus, that did cover most maintenance items, however that product was declined. Unfortunately, this review was written prior to us hearing back from Warranty, as it does take a couple days at times for them to make a final decision. We believe our people have reached out to you yesterday, two days after dropping off, to let you know the great news; Warranty has approved the repair in this case due to the other damage and the parts are on order to get the repair completed.       Our experience started in June 2023 with a slipping clutch. The first diagnosis of "too much oil" was incorrect. They were approved to change the oil but within 5 miles of riding the bike the issue was still there. After further analysis they determined it needed a new transmission and clutch. That work was approved. On the test ride it didn't make it out of the parking lot and had a loud rattle. This where the experience went bad. They told us it needed more clutch parts. In addition they said it needed a new battery. The battery was less than 6 months old. So we decided to pick the bike up.
      Upon paying the remaining bill and taking possession of the bike we noticed these aspects:
      1. The bike started up with no issues. The battery was not dead.
      2. The clutch cover where one would take apart and put the shims in was covered in dust. This is not possible if a shim(s) had been installed in the last 24 hours as they told us.
      3. The bike still has the rattle it had after the transmission was rebuilt and new clutch installed.
      Jay Hatfield management representatives were not truthful through the experience as outlined above. They created an issue with the clutch/shim’s that was not present before. They attempted to charge for components I did not need (battery).
