      Paid a $*** bill to keep it from going into collections while insurance information was being corrected due to just starting with medicare. Medicare settled and paid claim May 23, 2022. Have contacted Radiology Associates of Hays billing dept 10 times in the last 6 months, still have not received refund of $*** even though they show it should be refunded. All I get is a runaround, check was mailed, second replacement check mailed October 18th 2022, strange the postal service only loses the mail they send. As of Dec 7, 2022, still no check and no real answer after contacting them today

      Let's begin this response with me introducing myself. My name is Susan ***** and I am a Sr VP for the billing company and my email is *****************. I am responsible for Radiology Associates of Hays billing integrity. I have reviewed your account and I can see the transactions and it appears that all went as it should but now we know that you did not receive the re-sent refund of $***. We need to verify that we have your correct address - would it be possible for you to email me the address the check should be sent to? We have a staff member who can and will follow this until you have your refund and I am letting her know about all this. I have been told that she has the flu but she is trying to work a few hours a day and I will ask her to give this top priority. $*** is a lot of money and I am very sorry that this has happened this way. Ideally you would communicate directly with me until we have this resolved which should be very soon.

      company called 12/9/22, said they mailed to wrong address, and that they would resend refund to correct address, received refund check on 12/14/22. problem resolved as requested
