    Dropped off my transmission to get rebuilt. I paid him $765 to rebuild it completely. He claimed to give me a one year warranty on the transmission he didn’t give me a receipt but I have text messages proving that it was dropped off to him. It hasn’t even been two weeks and the transmission is slipping in and out of gear. I replaced the pan on the transmission because it was leaking. The Throttle valve cable he installed was done incorrectly I texted him no response so I ended up having to do it myself. The transmission is leaking from the main seal which means the entire thing has to come back out. He refuses to respond or answer any of my phone calls. He has a pistol on his hip at all times. I’m afraid for my life to go to his shop.

    December 14th, 2023 I paid *** Blackwell $1,075 (cash) for the 4L60E transmission that he built . I messaged him a week earlier saying I was in no hurry for a transmission. He messaged me December 14th, saying it would be completed that evening. I felt obligated to make the 6-hour round trip to purchase the transmission since I had inquired about it, but once again I never said to build me a transmission. On January 14, 2024, my mechanic installed the transmission. After installing and filling with fluids, it was discovered that the transmission only worked in reverse and NO forward gears. Contacted *** and he kept trying to say we didn't have enough fluid in it. He didn't even know that it took 11 quarts and not the 13.2 quarts he kept trying to tell us. He ordered the wrong torque converter that he had shipped to me. On January 24th, 2024, I made a 2nd trip to Haysville to pick up the "replacement" transmission for the first faulty transmission and *** GUARANTEED me that this transmission would work correctly. On January 27th, my mechanic installed the "replacement" transmission. After filling with fluids and all other necessary requirements, my mechanic Steve took it for a test drive. The transmission worked in reverse & 1st gear only. While on the test drive the transmission wouldn't shift into 2nd gear or higher. The RPMs just went sky high as he tried to accelerate because the transmission wouldn't shift into higher gears. I called *** and yelled at him because he GUARANTEED me this transmission would work. I told him this transaction saved me ZERO money, in fact it cost me more than taking to a quality transmission shop. We text a few times and then he blocked me on Facebook Messenger, so I started texting his personal phone # and after us going back and forth about refunding my money, he won't respond to texts or phone calls. Looking at Facebook reviews, he has been ripping people of for awhile. He gave me the core & tc refund of $450, still owed $625
