    Wouldn't build the way we asked him to. We needed house wrap and he would not comply. Also would not put on ply wood.

    We paid him $17000 but only $6000 worth of lumber was delivered.

    He didn't do any work and thinks he deserves 10,000

    **** **** and I were under contract to construct $170,000 home and garage project. The day before the project was to commence he canceled the contract. I had $6,000 of materials on his job site as well as thousands of dollars of materials at my house and approximately $8,000 of materials on order. His deposit of $17,000 did not even cover these expenses. I had turned down other work and allotted over 2 months of my time to construct this project for them all the time was in communication with his wife letting her know my availability status was still good for the beginning of August. When they abruptly stopped canceled the contract this left a huge hole in my schedule and I was not able to find work and consequently suffered damages as a result and their deposit does not even cover the amount of losses I have incurred. He has falsely reported me to the Sheriff's Department he has threatened my safety verbally over the phone, and last night the wabuansee County Sheriff contacted both him and his wife and told them to stop contacting me, and I am in the process of communicating with my attorney about the different charges and legal complaints we will be pursuing.
